no but... lots of things are not right. And your solution is worse than the disease. There is always an academic appeal for the grade. And given enough complaints even tenure may not be enough. I was told that my complaint was the eighth or nointh, very similar, and the powers that be were beginning to see that there was a problem, but that nothing could specifically be done for me right then and there.
