In the opinion of many people (I think most breeders by the tally) the issue
of health testing and AKC availability have no relation.

BUT

To the non-breeders who may be reluctant to accept AKC availability the most
common reason I have heard is concerns about health. I would think if what
promises to be the "opposition" to AKC availability to CKCSC dogs is making
it loud and clear that the main reason is health related then whether you
want to admit or accept it these issues are very related in relation to any
future vote.

And just to re-state I am 3,000 % in favor of breaking down these walls and
making AKC dogs available for use by CKCSC breeders. The way it is today is
nonsens. But then again so is every breeder screaming I do these things
already but I am against you TELLING me I HAVE to do them. Doesn't make any
sense. If this is reality.
