In fact, the side effects depends not only by the drug but by the person.
The rule of thumb is if you're fine with your drug just keep going.
There are a lot of people that deal fine with gleevec ( like my son) - for
these cases I think that the good advice is just keep going. But there are
some that have serious side effects and should change.

You are a lucky guy for getting along with tasigna, because. like gleevec,
there are a lot of people with serious side effects as well.

TASIGNA is sometimes associated with serious side effects, with symptoms

   - Irregularity in heartbeat or fainting
   - Unexplained bleeding or bruising
   - Blood in urine or stool
   - Unexplained weakness
   - Yellow skin and eyes
   - Shortness of breath
   - Swelling of hands, ankles, feet, or face
   - Sudden stomach area pain with nausea and vomiting

Common side effects

Most patients experience side effects at some time. Some common side effects
you may experience include:

   - Low blood count
   - Rash
   - Nausea
   - Headache
   - Itching
   - Tiredness
   - Diarrhea
   - Constipation
