I'm sorry, but changing the current left navbar by another top navbar is a
*major* redesign. These are totally different items. If you took the
current left navbar items and laid them horizontally we would get another
3 rows of top bars. It's crazy. And it would be impossibly organized, as
top navbars are not easily divided into sections, especially given the
limitations of SourceCast, where top-most tabs are stuck.

Top navbars and left nafbars are very different. They have very different
uses, and very different pros and cons. It's not like lego where you just
move something around ant the piece still fits. Replacing the left navbar
by a top navbar is a major and complete redesign.

You are *always* "evaluating optons". I'm sorry, but endless delay is not
the same thing as work. And a complete redesign is not constructive, and
throwing everything we've done out the window is not constructive, and
that's not the same thing as "doing something" unless you mean "doing
something really bad".

It feels like you'd rather not get anything done. How long will you be
throwing a design out the window and starting from scratch? Are we going
to wait another 18 months before you decide to change something?
