I'm not sure that my method would work for *anyone* else. <grin>

I know, I know. This is the most sensible way. But I guess for me it's a
visual thing: I find it unsettling to see all of that correspondence all
mish-moshed around in one folder, even though I *know* I can sort out any
one person's email among all of the mish-mosh rather easily. That approach
just feels so....ethereal, if you will. Or impermanent. Or something.
Somehow seeing those little folders in my folder list (which of course are
nothing more than electronic bits and bytes themselves) is more comforting
to me. Call me crazy.

I'm beginning to think about getting an archiving program that would maybe
allow sorting of this kind....not sure if Dan Crevier's archiving program,
or John Carlsen's eMA, would do that, but I was thinking about going that
route. Then I could just keep the more currently relevant email in my
Entourage folders. With all of the attendant filing headaches, of course.

Thanks for the advice---I will think about the one-folder solution. But old
ways die hard!
