I asked this question before, but I may have been misunnderstood. Since I was using the Test Drive, I thought I would wait and see if it was different. Now that I have purchased the full version, this problem remains.
When viewing the Calendar, I select Tasks Pane under the view window. Entourage help says the following about the Tasks pane in the Calendar view: Tip The Tasks pane displays all incomplete tasks due today or prior to today. Yet this appears not to be the case. It shows ALL uncompleted tasks, even those far in the future. Even if I set the Tasks View to "Today," the Tasks Pane in Calendar View doesn�t change. Is there a way to do this that I have missed? I don�t WANT to see all my tasks, EVERY task, in the future. It's terrifying! :-) In addition, Is there a way to make that same task pane SHOW the uncompleted items for that day? They disappear as soon as they are checked off, yet in the Tasks View, one can keep them. I realize that I am used to the Palm Desktop paradigm. But it seems so intuitive to me, and works best for the way I work: show me only TODAYS tasks, and let me see what I HAVE completed today. Any suggestions here?
