Ed,

I was dazzled by special effects when movies like 2001 came out years ago.
Everything now is special effects. Story lines with depth are not part of
today's genre. Maybe a trend will develop to actually spend time with character
development, plot, etc. Nonetheless, with Avatar, 3-D curiosity will entice me
to the theater.

ENTS,

About Avatar, I am not saying it is a bad movie. It is worth going to see just
for the graphics. I wish it had a better story line. Think of "Dances with
Wolves" set in a jungle with Custer's last stand thrown in at the end. It is
nice to look at, but overall disappointing.
