Ive always been a fan of the Dune series by Frank Herbert. His
writings have an ecological undertone and his talent as a writer is
second to none. The first three novels in the series are probably the
best and could stand alone, but the next 3 jump thousands of years
into the future and lose many of the original characters. Now if they
could make a decent movie that would be great!
