Hi, Peter I have a similar head version to the 3232, and that's the 3229 (which has a quick release). I'm not seeing the 3232 as one that has the quick release. The 3229 does have the quick release. Are you sure you're referring to the correct version of this head? (And I do agree with your logic, that the swivel head is probably all you need, but if you want the quick release...then I don't think that the 3232 is the one that has it, but rather the 3229.)
