Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] Aileron Skins
I am re skinning my ailerons and was wondering if anybody you have made your own skins. It would be easy if I could find the correct bead roller. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tim

Jim,
I made new skins and stiffeners for mine over 25 years ago. If you have done any of this sort of work before, it is very simple. I folded all the stiffners using hardwood blocks in the vise. When it came to drilling skins, i used the original edge stiffener as a guide and clecoed them to the work table to hold the alignment.
Good Luck,
Russ
