John, et al: I have to respectfully disagree with Lorraine Morris (whom I've met) and the C-120/140 folks. Sport pilot is such a revolutionary idea - think of it, actually getting to fly real airplanes without a medical!! Ten or twenty years ago, it would have been unthinkable. I don't want to see people rocking the boat with off the wall petitions for exemptions, calling congressmen, etc. All it will take it for a small group of uninformed congressmen saying, "What, we've got pilots out there who have had heart surgery, (or whatever) now flying airplanes without FAA physical exams!! Let's stop that". Then, the whole thing could go up like a poof ball. For one, I'm thankful for what I've got now, as it's a whole world more than we had 3 years ago.
