This was an important post, thanks very much, John!
Everyone needs to read and understand it and do take their recommendations
for action. I'm sure you can all see that a good type club should be behind
this and seems like the Cessna 120/140 club is doing the right thing. Now
if some of the people in the Ercoupe club would take a hint and realize that
things CAN be done, maybe they could convince whoever runs the organization
to be on top of it. If I'm not mistaken there were really only 2 D models
to come out of the factory, although some folks make the argument that about
70 were factory D's. This could really have an affect on the system.
