Yeah, its all computable, way deep down. I don't know if it helps, which is 
always my fixation, but many believe its true. As Martin Gardner stated, behind 
matter is energy, and behind energy, mathematics, and since math is really 
nothing, behind all this God. Anyway that was his model and maybe Tegmark. I am 
not peddling and I don't know if its falsifiable? I don't care since its the 
weekend.

I guess one could start from "is physics computable?" (As Max Tegmark discusses 
in his book, but I haven't yet read what his conclusions are, if any). If 
physics is computable and consciousness arises somehow in a "materialist-type 
way" from the operation of the brain, then consciousness will be computable by 
definition.
