John, you should be aware that your understanding of a 'factual
discussion' which you have demonstrated occasionally on this very list
isn't necessarily shared by the majority of the readers and/or involved
persons.
To be a little bit more verbose: Imposing your very personal view onto
a topic to others (even if it's obviously plain wrong) and responding
to opposing views with blunt disrespect - as it has occured several
times - doesn't help. I'd deliver examples, if desperately requested,
but I don't think it's really required (at least I hope so, because I
didn't plan to spend my time on searching list archives ....).
If you'd try to put some more 'negotiation' into your style of factual
discussion, this certainly will make everyone's life easier,
