I just checked spanish nls and if saw it correct, the spanish nls version at shidel nls has a lot of english text inside, not only comments. so it will have to be overworked completely. is the text at shidel nls the correct one? I will try to check all german versions of nls asap as i noticed some reports that are two weeks old, asap means, german easter is longer than others, from friday till easter monday and I will see to find time. My personal main problem is that bug reports are sometimes at this forum, sometimes at gitlab or anywhere else. And user problems are often overseen over weeks. this is not user friendly. willi -- Diese Nachricht wurde von meinem Android Mobiltelefon mit mail.com Mail gesendet. At this time I also added the UTF-8 in the hope that that would be considered the master and the cp850/858 could be converted from it as necessary.

Actually the size/alignment problem seems to affect other translations, at least FR, IT and ES:
$ grep 2.10 mem/nls/mem.??.U*
To me it looks like the mem program itself will need changing to allow for the extra length strings.

I suggest changing to 858, which is the SAME except that it has the euro sign, that you can neatly see in the screenshot above. This would apply to any configuration where 850 is used as default codepage.
