Think newer. First Gen Macbooks have plunged in price because they cannot run 10.7; but an intel Mac running 10.6 is a heck of a lot newer than an old G4 of an sort. Moreover 10.6 still includes Rosetta so your old PPC stuff will continue to work. I would not waste the money on getting a G4-based mac laptop. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Books, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
