Hi Shaun, That would be a bit pointless to switch to BGT after I spent two years or so developing my own game engine. Its not an issue of not being able to create a cross-platform game engine, but using the best libraries for each platform. Each platform has its own APIs and libraries that are best suited for that platform. All I personally need is a little bit of time to actually redesign my engine so that it will run on different platforms by using platform specific libraries and APIs. Instead of a single engine I will end up with two or three engines one for each target platform.
