Star Ship Trooper, obviously the rounds they was throwing down range was not
having a much effect as they should have.
Shot gun or light 50 cal or like, less lead down range but one shot one kill
does help.
Unless your hoping to not destroy your facility with alot of lead sprayed
around?
Spray and Pray, or not aiming your weapon but lifting it up above the table
or like and firing off round for effect, not likely to hit any enemy, more
likely will just waste alot of ammo, or destroy windows and like, as well as
hit your fellow team members, or anyone else that is, such as civilians and
like?
One thing terrorist groups love is to cause a situation where the
law/military that responds does something that ends with a civilian killed,
especially children, namely to over react. Also they like it when you the
law, arrest someone that does not have a weapon but ... you know they was
the shooter, or why groups like the IRA (Sein Fein and like) is it breaks
down fast and into 3+ parts that you can pass to friends, but the police
look like idiots or worse, shoot some one who they think has the gun, and
it turns out they are not the gunmen or it was the gunman but he did not
have a weapon..
Why police have things like fiber optic viewers to look and see who is the
hostiles, how many there is, where the hostage or like is at, designate who
to shoot who and move on, room clearing is I believe a very hard and
dangerous thing, but house cleaning is worse.. So you got the 5 on the first
floor but you have 5 other floors/basements who now know your in the house?
Sorry I digress, if I was the one killing bugs, I would love the be able to
do it with the mininal risk to my ass as possible.
Gas yes, it does not make exciting movies but .. bug spray the character in
#2 or 3, says it all? Gas canisters that kill the bugs but not the humans.
Or at least give you protection of sorts from detection.
1900 the smokeles powder came out, it meant not more large clouds of smoke
you aim your artillery at.. or snipers became more effective, where did it
come from? the bullet..
Yes, doing a recon mission or like, where you want to blend in, firing off a
firearm when they don't have them, alerts the enemy that your there and
where to shoot at.. Sound can be located back and you don't need to see them
to shoot them, shot guns and artillery,

And i realized my mistake today on the way to work.
Guns are bad, Bombs are good. Not only are they more cost and space
effective per amount of gas, perfectly sufficient to harry primitives,
they fit much better to a background, where there are no guns.
