I haven't priced Apple products recently, but the last time I
checked, I could get an Acer Travelmate for $1500ish dollars that
would blow the doors off a MacBook Pro (based on the specs of course)
which was selling for $2200. That isn't the same ballpark at all.
If the prices are close, I guess needing to run Windows software
would be a big reason.
