thanks Rocky, I am gonna try the coffee filter clean method first. I
also did do the online trouble shooting and as it asked me all the
right questions, and as I followed how to read the pattern, I came to
the part where it asks me how the lower straight line patterns look,
and I selected that the lines were more towards the incorrect
catagory, and I submit the results, and I get to a "SORRY WE CANT
FIND THAT PAGE".....Im not sure about you, but I don't really go
visit the HP website because it looks cool, or to read about all the
new features such and such printer is offering. I am on the site when
I need a profile or a trouble shooting issue. I understand that there
are many models of printers, and that might be great, but a nozzle
diagnostic page looks rather standard no matter what printer you use,
and having a DEAD LINK, for a trouble shooting page is likely the
last thing anyone wants to see after investing the time answering
questions online, and reading things slowly to follow exactly as they
describe to do so....SORRY WE CANT FIND THAT PAGE DOESNT CUT IT!!

Dont CEO's and "top exec's" realize that everybody makes a pretty
decent product, Epson, Hp, Canon, ...Dont they realize that the
support level is likely the one area you dont want to drop ball?

Just frustrating. In my experience Canon...well the camera
department is superb in cust support. Epson...I dont remember, never
had a higher end Epson...came close to getting the 7800, but I
thought...LET ME TRY HP. The printer itself I like better than any
of the Epson's, its just a bit more robust for my, and can handle me
yelling at it..Epson a bit too finniky. Anyway....Anyone know where
I am commin from on this? Why cant they just be a little less
greedy, and take a less of a bonus check of half a mil this year and
dump that to support so they strengthen the backbone...the support is
the backbone of the product, and when that is strong...even a weaker
product can cut thru the waves.
