I am thinking that also, as far as calling HP...but it brings me back 
to the original posting question....calling HP, they will surely have 
me update the firmware....and maybe this will fix the problem?? I 
doubt it, but I have no choice but to call now. And I have this bad 
feeling, as last time I updated a firmware, I think it was for some 
type of paper that no longer was supported...

Let me try the print head first...then the HP call

anyone else have any input?
