Hello Glenn:

I've used the same 20 mil Illuminata Matte canvas with my old HP 100 
and now HP 130 with no thickness related issues...The only problem 
i've ever had is making sure the canvas is squarely cut and feed 
absolutely straight...I ALWAYS load from the front...There is no need 
to load from the back if one doens't use the auto roller 
attachment...This auto roller will NOT cut canvas or anything over 10 
mil...Even that is pushing it...
