Was late in reading this thread, but have to jump in. We have been using both the Pro versions of SPAM and virus versions of Declude for some time. To compare the support we have received from Ipswitch and Declude would be pointless. Scott has answered my e-mail questions promptly and with one exception has provided the solution in a single response. In today's competitive market there needs to be products and services that provide good value and more importantly do what they say they will. Declude is one of those products.
If Ipswitch is courting the corporate customer, then they have a long row to hoe, their product does not on its own meet many corporate needs. We have quoted IMail against Domino, Exchange and the like and have had a historic uphill battle just to get name recognition. IMail is an ISP's delight, and provides good SMTP/POP3/IMAP support. Adding features that bog down the overall product just to boost the information you can boast on an ad slick is bad management. Just like the rest of you, we believe that just because you can do something (bells and whistles), does not mean that you should do it. We are here to provide solutions to customers' problems, not force feed them what we think they need for their business. Ipswitch should think similarly. Otherwise they will end up with a bloated product that nobody wants and die and inglorious business death.
