My 2 cents: And I CAN post whatever the he11 I want even if it was on the sky being pink. OT OT
Declude has no install routine and doesn't clog up my registry and hard drive, it is simple to take out of production and I can use a command line virus scanner that costs $40. There is no way in hell I am going to spend $5000. One less complication on a server I have to worry about. In addition I agree one hundred percent that we don't have to defend Declude because it sells itself. I believe I was almost as taken aback as Scott was and that Scott handled the situation very well. I would have been swearing till I was blue and revealing all sorts of secrets about Ipswitch Inc. I don't ever recall there being any animosity between Scott and Len who have directly related low cost solutions of enhancements for Imail. Len being a FreeBSD box and Scott fixing the programming logic LightswitchOFF (errr...I mean IPSwitch) obviously can't wrap their head around. Honestly, It must be a severe insult to them when Scott can bring out a Queue manager to fix their SMTP DAEMON design failure. THE ONLY REASON I have kept Imail is because of Ron fom hksi.net, Len who advocates the use of Postfix and Scott from declude.com. We actually went as far as buying VOP Mail - great product BTW - REALLY stable. http://www.vircom.com/en/products/vopmail/vopmail.shtml Craig.
