Then tell your customer to get an Internet Service Provider that does not 
censor/filter access.  A company that offers Internet access that does not 
allow mail to be sent is not a true ISP (they fall in a category similar to 
those ISPs that are free if you watch their ads).

In kinder terms, you can say "Verizon only allows you to send mail using a 
Verizon domain; you may want to switch to an Internet provider that does 
not restrict your access."

Or, if you want to bend over backwards for your customer, you could find a 
way to open another port that they could send the mail on, which should 
fool Verizon.
