Hi there Peter here, Hope your day is going well? Its time for your daily e mail ..to let you know how things are in Levy Land!!!! Actually its a very busy day because filming has been going on all morning in Lincoln .yes I know you think you know that already but you dont .Lincoln is host today to Tom Hanks, Sir Ian McKellen and Paul Hudson .yes the diminutive weather person has been on the streets of Lincoln this morning filming a trailer to promote Look North (apparently he is a good advert for the programme) Then this afternoon we are both doing a bit of filming in Hull, I realise by this time you will be saying 'Oh how exciting when will we see the fruits of your labour?' As if you cared! I guess it will be on in a couple of weeks time on a Sunday evening. Ill let you know.
TONIGHT AT 6 30 ============== I know I say this everyday but tonight looks busy as well .we are having a follow up to the idea of an Angel of the North type statue near to the Humber Bridge, many people have been in touch and some of the texts are not backward in coming forward on their views on this one .more later. Also hes still a heart throb. I know this because Leanne our coffee lady has been telling me this morning. He is Patrick Mower, remember Special Branch? Well these days Patrick plays Rodney in Emmerdale and what you may not know is that he lives in our part of the world - I'll be meeting Patrick tonight at 6 30. Also the latest in our name change campaign. Weve had thousands of suggestions so far and tonight news is that a very influential person in our region has chipped in with his own idea for a new name who is that? Answers at 6 30. YOUR GUESTS ============ Thanks for all the suggestions for who you would like to see on the red sofa with me keep them coming in and we will make every effort to get them on the show - e mail me direct at [EMAIL PROTECTED] CAR STICKERS ============ Ive just done my daily duty of posting out some car stickers .they are going very quickly. So if you would like your own Look North car sticker then send me a SAE as soon as possible. LEVY LETTER EXCLUSIVES ====================== Youre ok because you already get the letter but in the near future we are going to have a big competition which will only be available if youve signed up for the LL (as I call it) so spread the word and get your family and friends to sign up - very easy just go to the addresses at the bottom of the LL. MUSIC ===== We have had several live musicians on the show recently and they have all gone down very well. I have to say I am a huge fan of Hayley Hutchinson who came on two weeks ago. I've got her CD and its a great listen (does that sound like an advert? Its not meant to. I just think shes a great local talent. Better ask the editor if Im in trouble!) If you or someone you knows plays or sings and would like to be considered for a TV appearance then get in touch with me now. I would also like to hear from anyone who thinks that they do good impressions - the reason I say this is that impressionists seem to be a dying breed and I think that a great shame. Do you agree? By the way when I was 17 I worked with Mike Yarwood and I played Eddie Warings son! Anyone under a certain age wont know what I am talking about!!! KEN DODD ========= Need I say more ..The king of comedy and the founder of the Knotty Ash Jam Butty mines has just been confirmed as a guest on Look North next week. Ken is a star in every sense of the word and I am delighted that he has agreed to come on to the show because Ken only gives TV interview very sparingly so stay tuned as we say. YOUR PICTURES ============== We dont have a monopoly on taking good pictures!! You got something that you think I should see then e mail me with it. Last night was a silly picture which poked fun at me (nothing new there then) but whatever your photo then send it to me and dont forget our big photo screen if you'd like your pride and joy picture to be shown on the show then send it in. I would love some pictures of the less obvious places, today for example someone has sent a great picture of Welton Church, that one is on tonight, I dont think I need anymore pictures on the Humber Bridge!
