Hello there, How is your Wednesday? I keep thinking it's Tuesday so maybe it's going to feel like a short week!! I am writing this early morning and the experts at the weather office ( Paul if off!!!) tell me that today is going to be around 30 centigrade in places. I mentioned Flamborough yesterday and have had several e-mails from you saying that like me you love the area as well it will be fab up there today! Its the last few days of the school holidays and I know for many I can hear the sighs of relief from here. I can always remember that awful feeling of the holiday nearly ending and having to go back to school - I know you will be amazed I can remember that far back. I said it before you did. I forgot to mention yesterday that I saw a great concert at the weekend of one of my favourites. Katherine Jenkins was singing with the National Symphony orchestra in the grounds of Nostell Priory. I met many people who watch the programme as we all had our picnic together. It was a great night. Those outdoor concerts are such a gamble. If the weather is good, there is nothing better but if you forked out £25 and it rains, it's such a shame. Sunday night was perfect.
TONIGHT ======= The Voting continues tonight on our final 6 to go through the the grand final next week on our name change campaign. Last night's shortlisted name was The Peter Levy Show (a snappy title) with a cheeky film from Paul. No wonder he is on holiday this week - he made the film and then left quick. Revenge is a dish best served cold. Anyway tonight another reminder of our final 6 to vote on. Also tonight a feature of special interest if you have small children. LEVY LETTER =========== Please pass the word round to any friends and family who would like a LL. All you have to do is get them to go to one of the links below - just click on the Levy Letter and follow through. FINAL TEXT BILL ============= Just one final e mail from a lady who I shall just call Hazel who wrote to tell me that her text bill for one month alone was £276. I just dont believe that one !! CALENDAR ========= Just to let you know that we are still working on the Calendar which we are putting together to raise money for Children in Need. There are some lovely pictures from around the region on the calendar and sadly also a picture of Paul and myself - but please dont let that put you off buying one when they are ready. I will let you know. BIRTHDAY ======== Different but possible in the LL is a birthday greeting. I often get asked to wish people happy birthday on the TV but that is not possible because I would never get anything else done. However things are different on paper and this morning an e-mail from Katherine to tell me its her birthday and can she have a mention. Katherine in Beverley - happy birthday! You certainly have the weather for it. LEAVE IT TO ME ============= Dont forget if you have a problem or an issue that you think I maybe able to take on then drop me a line, give me the details and pass this on to anyone else you know who has a problem. You can ask them please to e mail me or write to me at BBC, Queens Court, Queen Gardens, Hull HU1 3RH. My direct e mail is [EMAIL PROTECTED] Well I had better get on and start work on the TV show for tonight. I do hope you will join me at the usual time of 6 3O. Enjoy your day.
