Just to complete my previous message, for Maple, the situation is even more complex:
- The GUI lives in: /Applications/Maple 17/Maple 17.app - While the server in: /Library/Frameworks/Maple.framework/Versions/17/bin/maple and Lyx needs the second one, not the first, in the path variable. 2013/9/4 David R.
