Paddy,
I just use a series 2 electronic Bluebird dizzy with a Bosch T-coil. It's set
at 15deg initial with 6deg mechanical advance plus standard vacum so under
boost it has 21deg. Works ok. Turbowise in Perth modified the advance curve for
$50 they also cleaned and tested it.You can run more mechanical advance but you
must use a boost retard- vacum advance diaphram. I've used these before and
they work well but aftermarket ones are quite expensive although turbo rotary
ones can be modified to fit. I didn't bother doing this as I'm changing to
efi.My MT-8 arrived today.
