Nick:
Exactly. Now you getting the picture Arlo. I'm being serious.

Arlo:
> How many "thieves and murderers" stole that land, kicked off the people
> living there,
> and now you call it "yours". You are a thief and a murderer, Nick. You've
> bought stolen goods. You bought goods that were stolen with blood and death.
> You justify it by saying "hey, wasn't me who did the killin', I just bought it
> off the murderer."

Nick:
I never justified it Arlo. You lie. If I could figure out who's land this
was, the name of the person,
and if all could do it and know exactly what land was there's I would be all
for it.

> "Private property" is enforced by the state. You want to be part of that, you

Nick:
Ah, no Arlo. It's my natural right to have property. It's a basic need
acquired by
the best way possible without conflict when I bought it without conflict I used
civil
means called money and negotiable exchange. Now if I knew who's property this
was
before it was stolen and we all got together and did this. I would be all for
it. Property
is an extension of our very life being the naked humans we are in need of
shelter and possibly
space if you buy it. Nobody forces me to own the land. As humans we live on a
planet called
earth it's also called land. We perform various activities on this land. I
sleep in this house and
cook. It's natural.

Nick:
I don't want to be forced to do what I am willing to do voluntarily. Don't
forget that
Arlo. I've said that repeatedly.

Arlo:
you could live your life in such a way as to not have

Nick:
I live here Arlo. Why are you suggesting I run and hide from what I've
established here? Or is it because you know if I try to not be coerced here
the government WILL initiate physical coercion. You know it Arlo, you know it.

> What? Play by the rules or you don't have to play? Sure. Hardly unfair. You

Nick:
I will gladly volunteer to acquire any benefits voluntarily. But to coerce me
and my
liberty to do so voluntarily is called anti-liberty or initiating physical
coercion (IPC for short).

>
> [Nick previously]
> Nope.
>
> [Arlo]
> Yep.

Nick:
No it's not Arlo. It's legal tender physically coerced upon people. The world
is
full of currency that doesn't need to be forced on people cause people
naturally
trade and exchange in what is called the free market, but when the government
intervenes it uses socialist policies to coerce people into what they can and
can't
use as currency. The government is very violent Arlo.

> [Nick previously]
> Yeah, join the black market and hide from the government.
>
> [Arlo]
> Not at all. Don't use the infrastructure, don't pay. Simple as that.

Nick:
Exactly Arlo! My point exactly. I don't have a choice where my money goes.
It
is physically coerced from me and applied to arbitrary projects. It is not
rational
to gamble with morality as Thoreau so wisely wrote. It is not rational to do
what
you BELIEVE is right. I'd rather DO what is right. You give away your
responsibilities
and HOPE the government does what you BELIEVE is morally right. I am about
direct
action and I want to do what I know is right and choice where my money goes and
help who I know needs help. I am wise and not trying to be irresponsible and
gamble
morality to chance. In direct action the probabilities shrink cause I know
more exactly
what is being done with my money and efforts.

> [Nick previously]
> Well you want to force me off my land or else I have to pay taxes.
>
> [Arlo]
> Your land according to WHO?

Nick:
Me. It's my land you idiot.

> "Trail of Tears" all over again. "Shove off Nick to the reservations," Arlo

>
> [Arlo]
> Then pay your fair taxes and stay.

Nick:
Or else Arlo will shoot you with a gun.

Arlo:
That's an option the Indians did not have.
> You do. You have a choice. And if you choose to opt out of property tax, I am
> sure your travels to the reservation would go much smoother. And once you got
> there, you'd never have to pay taxes again. No one would come after you with a
> gun. You could do whatever you wanted. Oh, well, there is a tribal authority
> there, but I'm sure that you could manage.

Nick:
Again you prove how heartless you are. I will voluntarily pay for services but
you
continue to want to steal and quite possible advocate murder me. It is my land
Arlo.
It is what I have labored for, my wife and I. And you will IPC if I don't
follow your
King of the Hill might makes right policies. I see your insidious plan you
pervert.
