Nancy this is for Gail Dupree
I was fortunate to get my mother's Crisco Cookbook dated 1930, the
year she was married. Here is the recipe for the pound cake.
Phyllis from Massachusetts

Crisco Pound Cake
1 cup Crisco
1 1/2 cups Sugar
5 Eggs
2 cups Flour
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Mace
1 tsp Vanilla
Cream Crisco and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating
well after the addition of each egg. Add the flour, salt and mace.
Add vanilla and beat thoroughly. Bake in a greased tube pan or loaf
pan in moderate over (350 F)
60 to 80 minutes.
