Hello Guys

just a line to let you know that I was all wet on this, Welcome screen
can be changed.

I finally was able to change the "welcome to OS 9.1 "screen " to
"welcome to OS 9.2" screen using resedit and at lot of patience. The key
was to boot up on a separate drive ( in my case an external hard drive
backup of 9.1) and work on the System Files of OS9.2.1 and OS9.1 ,
respectively, in the non- boot up mode. After three or four times thu
the exercise of changing all six related panels due to "bad" pointing
and clicking, i was able to do the beast!.

BTW to all

With our unsupported macs, this installation has a 9.2 Finder but a 9.1
System Suitcase. What does this mean?
  Or does it mean anything?
Do we have a "true" OS9.2.1 or what?

The only reason I did the deed was to prepare myself for the Rempel &
Sonnet patches that are sure to come when OS10.1 hits the street.
