For mplayer testing, I used the same file IIRC that PlayReal download, from a window cmd screen, I do a CD to the proper directory (Playreal\bin), and issue mplayer rtsp://... it play well on the PC speakers. all the versions above play the stream on the PC speakers, that is why I am at a loss as to what I am missing. Here is the output of the PC window command. ( I get a similar output for IIRC), it complains a bit about the server, but it then plays the stream fine...
