Hi erland, thanks for your reply. it sounds very strange that my problem is a performance one: my NAS is a new one, synology ds213. i don't have any problem in any other task, i can for example stream to my squeezebox while scanning the library with no problem. here i am just tryning to open the Various Setting Tab, without performing any task..... In any case, Clear didn't solve the problem(s). I will experiment with Custom Clock, as you suggest. And maby i will try to work with Custom Scan Menus instead of Mixed Tags ones...
