What ever happened to the option in the OS9 driver "Use max print area" ?
(With a warning saying that the quality in output in this area may decline)
I have this option in my dialog boxes. I'm basically presented with each option as if it were another printer so if I print one print standard and then queue a max size print when I open the printer centre I am shown two progress boxes, one for each option. I cannot tell you what driver number I am using because I don't know where to go and look for it!
In your original post you said you wanted to print fully to A5. Whatever you finally resolve I think you will still have to trim something. When I print A5 for clients - none of the papers I use come in A5-I use picture package in PS, put two on an A4 and trim the excess. It's not true A5 but that has never been an issue. If it has to be A5 for proofing some graphics then it goes on A4 with crop marks etc.
