All of you are right in one stand or another. The fact of the matter is there are times and boys that need to listen. There are times when adults need to not spare the rod. In those times with those children a time or two I have had the parent and the boy come together before they are given permission to go on a campout that if he he doesn't mind he "Will be spanked with his Mother's permission" that has solved any behaviour problems I have had to deal with at that extreem.
