Limited experiment on my test-track indicates that ALL of my S scale
locomotives are close enough
in speed (at least at speeds that replicate authentic operation) to
double-head: both SHS diesel switchers
and the 2-8-0, AM GP-9, PA Heritage 44-tonner with re-gaged Athearn HO drive,
and even Miller Alcos
with the Cascade repower. I probably won't ever do so, but it is good to find
it would be possible.
