I took the implementation from the GNU C library since we then don't need
to change any doctests. I'll attach the added source files for reference.
I don't think there is any 32-bit overflow problem as nobody complained
about doctests failing on Linux/i386. Seems like OSX really has a
different implementation of the rng. Also, the GNU C library
implementation changed at least once previously, so there is never a
guarantee that rand() is reproducible across platforms. Quality of rng's
is not a concern for cdd.
