The 2nd drop-down allows people to change to a lot of different
languages, although no Europea

The additional problem is that changing the English version might well
have a negative impact on all or most of the translations. That is

people to modify and re-sell as long as they make the original version
easily available.
Typically this is used to gain wider distribution. Sometimes getting

I think Base is better when you use an external back-end. The Postgresql

owned by Oracle so it might be better to go for the drop-in replace
