That was aprones first game and as far as I know he is working on a new towers of war but you have to understand aprone is very busy. Hi Leibylucwgamer.Ok, I will tell you how to beat each level.First the abyss. When you start you will hear the first phone in your left ear. Walk about 14 or 15 steps you will be at the edge of the abyss. Now turn left until the sound of the phone is in the center. Walk towards it until the phone beeps. Walk about 2 steps then turn right until the sound of the next phone is in your left ear. Walk until you reach the edge. This part of the level is random so throw glass until you hit the abyss. Turn left until the sound of the phone is centered. Walk towards it and then turn until the third phone is to your far right. Now walk carefully and when you reach the phone the exit will be opened. There is a forgotten man at the end so watch out.Now the submarine. Swim toward the first bubble and swim fast so that the man will tell you to swim slowly. This is so you dont get caught up by this later. Get the bubbles then break the first peaces of music. Turn right wh
 en you go outside the sub and you will be able to hear the music. Swim as fast as you can to it break it and turn left to a bubble. Turn right and swim to the next peace of music. There are no more bubbles so turn right again and swim to the very last peace. You will start to die but if you swim fast enough you will be able to break it before you lose the level.Now the fire. This is actually very simple. There are 2 cans of oil that will catch fire during the level. Depending on which direction your facing the oil will either catch fire to your left or right. Turn quickly to the oil walk towards it until the burning sound is loud and use your extinguisher. Hi Cae.Well you could create a map editor sort of like your swamp one. You could use x/y to quickly create a map. Almost like tactical battles map system. You have a map size then you create obstacles and things for the game. To make it even simpller you could just create a form that asks how big the map should be and what sorts of obstacles and turraine you want then once you finish that you could have your editor output to a text file. If you do this you will have working maps in a few minutes or so. Hi Aaron.[[wow]] that would be awesome. Im sure you can make a paid version since theres no copyright on the game. Upgrades would be awesome and a 2d or 3d game would be even better instead of the original concept of a side-scroller.If you want to use dfe thats cool but I wouldnt recommend it. Ive looked at dfe code and it makes no sense at all. Getting the engine to do something simple like have sapi speak is downright complex. If you want to use an engine I would recommend bgt. The code is easy to understand and bgt has a lot more features then dfe. If you decide not to use either of these remember there are plenty of great programming languages out there like java, python, and c++. Keep in mind that dfe doesnt come with a compiler so that any code you do anybody will be able to see.I dont want to offend the developer of dfe but I believe its been almost 2 years since an update has come out for this engine. Anyway

Kamochek, the point is its okay to remake games that companies have made like bavisofts games or a game that was made for sighted people. But since the inquisitor is basically a brand new game that is still being worked on you shouldnt just try to remake it. Thats like saying to a developer, Your game is not good enough for me so Im going to remake it.Just imagine if you were a developer of games and somebody just remade a game that you worked very hard on. Hi.@Bestintheworld, entombed doesnt have screen reader support so you can only use sapi. I dont know what language entombed is written in but either the language doesnt have screen reader support or the developer has just never added it.@chris, entombed has always spoken descriptions like this there is just no way around this. I think people should email the developer and ask for screen reader support. Hopefully it would encourage him to add it. Hi Kamochek.Of course you can make a copy of a game like that for yourself but if you already have a game like inquisitor do you really need to make a copy of it? Thats putting in a lot of time and hard work for something that you already have. If you make practice games thats cool it will help you get better skills. Ive never heard of the books you are talking about but if you want to make a game based on the books thats fine. I would write different names for the locations and characters. If you want some ideas you could do something like a zombie appocalypse game or something like an rpg adventure game. Im sure you could think of something pretty awesome. They are really outdated and buggy but if you want to try them the links are still on the database.Dont hold your breath for usa raceway the development on that game has been on hold for about 12 years now. Writing a text adventure in python might take a little bit longer than writing it in inform but I would say its definitly worth it.@Dhruv, I dont think I understood that exactly but yes command line is more accessible than idle so all you have to do is open command line then open notepad. Or you can write your code in notepad save it as a .py file then go to the file in windows explorer and select edit with idle in the file menu. Hi Blindncool.Well being able to use the print statement in python and generate random numbers for things like health, player stats, and other things are the most important things for making an if game. If your on windows I definitly wouldnt recommend using inform since I tried using inform and jaws and nvda dont like it at all. Someone really needs to write jaws scripts or an nvda addon for inform. Right now if you have python all you need to get is pygame from pygame.org to be able to play music and sounds. Just make sure at the beginning of your file you import pygame otherwise it wont work properly at all. If you are a beginner in python try writing sections of code in idle then press enter to run your program. If you did this correctly your code will be executed but if you didnt you will get an error. Hello Dark.Well as a programmer I can understand the delays in working on accessibility changes. Ive never worked on anything with graphics but I imagine trying to make a game that relies on graphics work with voice-over and describe the map in great detail is probably very difficult. Hello Nin.Well I dont know how accessible this is since I havent tried it yet. But one thing that helps me is to memorize the character screen. I noticed in this game when you get to the character select menu the music changes to rock n roll like music so what I do with other games is try to memorize the positions of the characters in the menu. Hi Kamochek.Well I also recommend python because it is fast and easy to learn and use. One thing that helped me learn python quickly is idle. Idle is what is called an interactive development environment which just means you can type test code into it then run it to make sure it works properly. Just like everybody else has said start simply. Dont start by trying to write the next 3d velocity or tank commander but start with a hello world program and then make a program that displays different messages depending what you press on the keyboard by using if statements. At the moment I am also starting to learn java which has an ide called eclipse. You might also want to check out java because although it is not simple like python you can use eclipse like you would use idle in python. Just remember you will get errors a long the way because everybody does. But this is just apart of programming dont get discouraged. You never know you might end up writing the nex

Hi.Oh know sorry about that yes I did mean the command line. I use both the command line and idle so often I just wrote that without thinking.@camlorn, idle is a little hard to work with on windows but what I usually do is write code in notepad then edit it later with idle. Jaws doesnt like idle but if you use it all the time you get used to it.@Rory, you actually can give your program a title if you really want too by using comments. You could write your name and the title just remember this isnt actually apart of the code or you can display your title in a message box. I dont know what language your using but once you write these comments and whatever else you want then you can start coding. You can pretty much write a program however you like there is no right place to start. Just make sure as your writing it the code makes sense to you. Hi.@King gamer you can just use idle which is included with the python interpreter. Its a little difficult to operate using jaws but it can be done. Dont know how accessible it is with nvda or windoweyes though.@Camlorn, the reason I asked about c++ is because I know it is popular and someday I hope to get a job as a programmer so I think it would benefit me to be familiar with a few different languages and to learn how to make cross platform apps because I like that idea instead of being stuck on mac, windows, or linux or other devices you have a few different options. I dont know what your experience with the mac has been but there a lot more accessible then you think much more so because VoiceOver was created by apple. I wish microsoft would make there own screen reader and please dont mention narrator that is probably the worst piece of shit microsoft has ever made. Its just macs at least for me seem more user friendly and accessible then windows of course this doesnt apply to everybody. Hi.Thanks for the advice. I will start playing around with python for the next week or so and see what I come up with. Thats a good point about not releasing it to the public. I think if I wrote an engine it would definitly make it easier for me to write different kinds of games without repeating the same style and mechanics over and over again. Things I would like to have in this engine are weapon systems, support for as many screen readers as possible, a conversation system, trust system, and much more. A big thing I would want to focus on is features that arent in game engines we have now. Hi Gryfindore.Well its been a while since Ive played entombed but one combo I have always liked is the dwarf barbarian assassin since as an assassin you can hide and do sneak attacks and critical hits. Dwarves can take a lot of damage so they dont die easily also if you have the short swords you can do some serious damage with charge and things like that. Bards are pretty weak but they are helpfull so its good to have at least one in your party with a second job as a monk since monks can do a lot of good things like break limbs and takedown. Use the siren song to put the enemies to sleep then attack them with your dwarf that should do some serious damage.For races I would suggest sticking with the dwarves, ogers, and humans. Humans are average in pretty much every respect so they are well rounded. Hi Harrylst.Well the developer of the bk games is not using any kind of rpg maker or anything like that he is using something called hot soup processor which is a scripting language but only in japanese. Hi Slj.Dont worry your not alone. Im the same way with bgt. I understand the concepts of programming but I cannot put a game together to save my life. Just start out with simple scripts like alert functions and then maybe you could add small blocks of code to it. One very easy thing to remember is that when your writing a script and showing a game window use key_pressed because this only checks if a key is being pressed once instead of pressed repeatedly.Bgt is probably one of the best things out there for coding games. Ive tried with other languages and have had some success but I like bgt especially because it is made for creating games spacifically. Maybe someday I will actually be able to code a good game worth playing. Hi Everyone. I am a huge fan of audio games and have always wanted to make one but I am no good at programming. Since I cant code myself I am putting these ideas here so that hopefully it will encourage someone to develop these games. When I first had these ideas I was a simple windows user but Ive now discovered the Mac and Ios so I picture them as Apple games but thats just me. Since I am a huge fan of the Tv show Cops I have always wanted to make a police procedural. This game was also slightly inspired by the ancient game Danger City. my working title has always been crime city but of course this can always be changed. You are a police officer working in a crime infested city one night as you are starting your shift you are hit on the head and kidnapped by 2 unknown people. The game starts as you wake up in a locked room. You are carrying nothing no weapons no nothing. Even though there seems to be no way out you manage to break the do
 or because it is weak. There are 2 guards outside and you have to defeat them. The game progresses as you fight your way through the building and escape to find out why you are being targeted.This next game is an Rpg. You live in a big city where you live on the streets and have always had to fend for yourself. You go through the game as you find out things about your mysterious past and realize in the present you have powerful enemies because of who you are. This could either be 1 game or a series of games depending on how it is developed. My final idea is for a game or a series of games resembleing metal gear solid. You are a spy who goes after terrorist groups. I wanted this to be a stealth game and a Fps at the same time. Where in some areas you have to kill enemies but in others it is to dangerous to shoot for different reasons you have to sneak through.Before I decided to step back I wanted to use the papa engine since it is 3d you can fight or be stealthy de

Hi Garrett. Interesting. Yeah technoshock and night of parasite are the hardest audio games Ive ever played. I dont think Ive ever beat technoshock. I could never get past that bug robot on the first level it just moved to fast! Another game I think is hard is world of war. Actually I think that is more challenging then judgment day. When you get to about level 6 or 7 those ships move so fast. And then theres star trek final conflict. H your right. That might be a little tough but Im sure it can be done. I do like the way the borg cube is in Stfc its almost indestructible just like youd think. If there could be some kind of aiming in the game that would be awesome. If the game were made so you have equal chances of either hitting or missing a part of the ship. It would definitly be cool if the ferengi were included in the game. They are one of the strangest races in next generation.
