[Emc-users] metal printer.

2023-04-06 Thread a k
Hello
Last time i visited this web was 10 years ago or so.
my last project was 3D metal printer. i used my demo mill. my milling
machine run on linux cnc. I mounted a mig welder machine on mill. MIG
welder was liquid metal depositor.
i build unit to synchronize cnc machine and mig welder.

10 years ago it was something new and now not any more
here is 10 years old video that i try to replicate.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOarxQRKW9o

and now i learned that lincoln electric which make mig welder also make 3d
metal printers
https://additive.lincolnelectric.com/

lincoln can make any part - cylinder block for gas/diesel engine -- check
their web
lincoln will make part for you, but will not sale machine.

some time it is interesting to look 10 years back.

thanks
aram

[Emc-users] Mechanical gearbox

2019-08-25 Thread a k
Hi
When I work on replacement encoder on servo motor
I found that now on the market mostly closed loop AC servo motors with
drive.
And the start $500 for combo.

Is it not be same result to use such AC servo motor with closed loop drive
with control analog +/- 10 v dc?
In this case need to know how many volt correspond to sertaine rpm,
And use potenciometer to get right voltage.

Hi
With all , on the video we can see hardware development.
If one need that, have place to buy it.
If that hardware can be integrated with Linc

Hi
3 years ago I did talk to Michigan Institute. There was PhD student from
Thailand that work on 3d metal printer etc.
School can produce papers talk etc but I can not to see part made in
Michigan Institute.
I think that m I. Use cure software for plastic printing and try to write
program to program 3d metal printer.
After many talk to PhD student that what I think it was.
Student got PhD paper and teaching job in Thailand. Very tipical story.

[Emc-users] Linuxcnc-application

2019-07-27 Thread a k
Hi
I am interesting if linuxcnc can host different groups , like linuxcnc for
application?

Right now it is linuxcnc for lathe and mill.
Cutting process not under the any questions ,so only linuxcnc ...

What about if lcnc does something more complex than simple metal etc
cutting?

Here a lot to talk about Linc and what it actually does ..

Thank you

Yes, we try to tune up, parameters for m52 , and it is slow down motion but
not to zero. 0.001 for 3 sekonds .

[Emc-users] M52

2019-05-06 Thread a k
Hi
i use m52, to stop and slow down cnc.
M52 part of the program (main part).
already few people did tune up parameters to m52, and it start work
better-- STOP any motion of cnc, but at the best i can see that cnc move
0.001 per 3 seconds.
if i need to stop for 5 minutes it be 0.01 total motion.
if programmed feed be 2 " /min in compare to 100" /min , same tune up for
M52 will have different result for creeping.
y/n?
i think it be good to ad self adjustable loop.
where system will see if it move and how fast / hove much it move and base
on that adjust -increase/decrease parameters for M52.

[Emc-users] drive -s94s080y2n

2019-03-24 Thread a k
hi
i want to ask about drive s94s080y2n
to where i input single phase 240 ( 120 , 120 vac)
main voltage 120/240 , and on drive marked output 230Vac.

when i use voltmeter -what voltage should i see on output?
between u and ground: ?
between u and v ; v and w; ?
Machine just ON.
no motion on any axis.
i did measure vac but it is not what i expect

thanks

Re: [Emc-users] LCNC logic

2019-03-10 Thread a k
hi
last time i did wired motor drive was in 2004, i forgot things.
i need look not from drive side -pin but from 7i33 side.
7i33 pin amp P3
(connector)
2 ENCA0 1
3/ ENCA0 2
4GND7;1;18;
5 ENCB0 3
6/ENCB0 4
8 IDX05
9 /IDX0 6
11AOUT0 23
13 ENA017
///
if new drive has same pin then it can be used.
i took this print from documentation, part where talk about useful hardware.
i am right? it was 15 years ago,
there was part where hardware like servo motor, drive , boards etc had
table with corresponding pins.
question: does that part of documentation still exist and does new hardware
were added . ?
it can be very helpful .
probably new mfg of new hardware need to add /manage that part.

thank you

[Emc-users] LCNC logic

2019-03-09 Thread a k
hi
i am interesting in LCNC logic - how it work
for situation when LCNC command to axis to move 4" ,
and in case if axis moved only 3" ,for any reason like
1- axis hit obstacle;
2- power wire broke;

question-- how LCNC knows that need E-STOP?

1- axis over load with power and because of that E-STOP ( but this will not
work in case of wire broke - because there is no power over load ...)
2- time go and encoder does not move to where it should go or moves too
slow.
i think that it is encoder signal that tells to LCNC if system ok or need
E-STOP.
y /n?
/

LCNC does not care what communication between servo motor and drive.
LCNC only care to drive be:
1- analog velocity mode with =/- 10 v;
2-incremental quadracha feed back;

any pack -servo motor+drive - that has such output ok to LCNC.
//
below 25 pin in my existing drive (LENZE SD 94).

which from existing 25 pin do i need/should to connect to NEW type of
drive?

3) EB+ encoder B
4) EB- encoder B not
5) EZ+ encoder Z(??? from my existing LENZE drive)
6) EZ - encoder Z not

1. this only software code add in or need allocate wire -hardware etc.
2. is a there description on documentation where talk about add e-stop in

did anyone used try this motor+drive?
it is close loop system
and manufacture said that on LCNC i can use 2 motor drive that i had from

Big question : is it possible on one system LCNC have 2 axis using open
loop (where software tune axis) and one axis that is close loop?

it is close loop and use step and direction.

[Emc-users] new type servomotor??

2019-03-04 Thread a k
hi
i start call search for servo motor and all that knew from 2004 is not good
any more.
there are no more encoder with pulses per quadracha 8192 puls, and technic
in New York
put servo drive into motor!
and encoder has 8 wires.
my motor from 2004 has 15 pins.
another

has nema 34 but his encoder output serial signal 16 000 and to use this
motor need get his drive.
he said that no more tuning from LCNC. drive tune motor. and LCNC need use
pulse and direction to talk to this new type of drive.
did some one try this?
did any one use Hadson servo motor made by technic?
HIWIN also have servo motor on web.
also this -
https://www.automationtechnologiesinc.com/products-page/nema-34-dc-servo-motor/

i want to know which one i can use to replace my servodinamics , because
technology has change . i want to replace only one motor /drive that i have
problem with min problem.

need to start learning new generation of servomotors !

I am using m52 to stop feed with 5 vdc that converted to frequency etc,
When I stop feed, machine has changes in few thausands .
X and y axis moved in few thausands but z axis was more quite .
And next day z axis motor stop working.
That may indicate something

[Emc-users] turbine

2018-12-04 Thread a k
hi
youtube sent to me this video
https://youtu.be/ktF0dPyL890

this video in has narration in other language but it is enough only to see
what this person does.
he use manual mill and rotary table and look what he build machine with it.
he machine turbine wheels for his project --- small jet engine for real
flying plane drone etc. market for small drone for commercial use is big
and none of small drone came with miniature real jet engine so far.
i bring this up because when i start learning emc2 linuxcnc the idea was -
i will use knowledge to make a money etc to return investment. that did not
happen so far.
if i saw such video 10 years ago , that can make big difference for me.
(person that on video knows about how design calculate profile of jet
engine blade -from narration . )
do not need big shop big machine also.
some thinking ..

i did try to power servo drive with single phase 240v ac.
single phase 240 v ac that what usually residential area have.
phase to phase 240 v ac, and phase to ground 120 v ac.
it work.
i start think that if i use inverter that will take single phase 240 ac and
convert it to 3 phase may be even better.
servo drive input mark l1 l2 l3 and ground 240 v ac.

hi
i got phase converter xsy at1.
did anyone program such inverter - phase converter ?
it did not came with good instruction.
google +youtube have something about
i will use it not to drive motor as all sample on google
but i plan to power with it my ac servo motor amplifier- that need 3 phase
220 240 v ac.
in my case there is no acceleration or declaration like motor has y/n?

plug in as good as system which it use.
i use ubuntu 16.04. very good. very easy to get to internet. what else need?
only after i load code block ( c++ programming) instantly "Ubuntu software"
stop working - does not open - say no software etc.
something wrong , right?
i load in ubuntu 18.04 and this release even can not be install - computer
can not load it in.
can load 16.04 and can not load 18.04
is anyone else have similar problem?
why people that work on debian can not joint with conical software people
and deliver one system that actually work good ?
no problem pay for something that actually work . ( not as much as windows)
just some idea.

[Emc-users] magnetic field

2018-05-27 Thread a k
hi
i was thinking about problem that i got and have some ideas.
when one come close to the large motor - any motor - size of motorcycle or
small car , possible to notice that hair - start move. like someone
touching it.
right?
this is magnetic field touching. right?
such large motor always grounded. only super large business use such
motors.
i am talking about such large motor because no need to special
magnetometor to detect magnetic field- hair is enough .
what will happen if next to such motor put any coil or any metal body
-sheet metal etc?
the electricity will be generated. right?
if one will grounded this metallic part /coil next to large motor , what
will happen?
that will effect large motor through magnetic field- without direct contact
to any large motor wiring etc.
my point. every motor will generate magnetic field - outside of motor body.
this magnetic field will have very strong robust effect on metal object
that close to motor as much as effect motor performance them self.
if some coil must be placed close to the motor then such motor must be tune
in same environment-situation.

just a thinking

Re: [Emc-users] wiring. axis move?

2018-03-25 Thread a k
Hi
I did check wiring.
It was same as when machine work last time 8 month ago.
I did remove all 3 motor drive from inside aluminum box and mount them on
outside wall of same aluminum .
Result.
All axis working good. No uncontrollable motion of axis.

Maybe problem is that drive generate magnetic field that like induction
create current on metallic box?
I am using linze motor drive. I have them from 2004.
Besides that they do not like to be inside metal box no problem for 14
years.

I will make box from plywood . And see result.

Thats another problem, the std line voltage has been 127 volts for
several decades. I would at least compare what this one reads against a
known good meter, because either your building wiring is wonkie, or that
meter belongs in the trashbin, thats about a 5% error.

I'll second this. You have a serious, potentially lethal problem. Please
get someone in there who can find and fix it. We aren't interested in
reading about you in the obit columns of the local papers.

Hello
It is sound strange but that what I have.
I build box 3 3 3 feet
And put all motor drive inside of it.
Why ?
This box build out of aluminum plate and holds together with bolts.
When all drive inside I have problem ==axis move by them self.
When I pull out all motor droves, they all working good.
I build this box to protect against outside magnetic noise = was logical
Right ?
But it is not what real situation .

Something not ok,
Was I wrong with building aluminum box?

Hi
When you said wide pin,
Do you mean pin that looks like round /cylindrical shape?
And there also 2 flat shape pins.

[Emc-users] wiring. axis move?

2018-03-23 Thread a k
hi
i reassemble my lcnc mill, and i found that axis move by them self.
i think it is something to do with static electricity.
i found ground - and when grounded lcnc body of machine - breaker turn off.
i measure with dc voltage between machine and ground 2. vdc and when i
measure ac voltage between lcnc machine and ground it was 35 v AC.

i know that when use real ground like a water pipe and ground in outlet
there always will be current they always be 30 v ac.
can it cause problem?

thanks

I already talk about why I can not use slicing program .
If one can do change to existing slicing software then I am interesting to
talk.

All new thing can be multidisciplinary.
That is why I only taking very specific nerrow subject.

i be honest, i am not smart enough to go into CURA - opensource software to
increase step up in Z direction up to .5" and turn extruder feed off or set
extruder feed to constant.

not sure how many people can do that --slicing step is variable with a
maximum of 0.05 surely that is a constant in
the code. Just change it!
go into open GL - software engine etc. is not my level task. i fish to find
some one that can do that.

2018-03-11 Thread a k
hi
i did search on google for slicing software. i try to contact open source
slicing program Cura.
i could not get hold of software designer, only sale and maybe tech
support.

i could not find slicing software where head feed -extruder feed can be set
CONSTANT.
second , in all slicing software that i see the max step up (z direction)
distance 0.05 of inch.
that is rigid.
0.05" is good for plastic but not for mig welder that i use.

Yes, slicing software will be good to use , it is very close , but as they
right now i can not use them.
if some one know slicing software where max step up in z direction can be
set up to 0.4 " and i can set extruder feed constant,
let me know

thank you

i want reverse tool path.
it is 2.5 axis motion
i did not say --mirror etc
motion need to start from bottom point of part and end on the top of part .

Re: [Emc-users] revers tool path.

2018-03-10 Thread a k
Hi
Kurt
i did try to use slicing software like kissliser etc.
Problems with doing that:
1- Slicing software output in addition parameter A or E that control
plastic filament . You can control thickness of deposition with CNC feed
and also with head feed (parameter A or E in some slicing software head
feed parameter A in other E)
How i can take that parameter out of Linuxcnc? a lot of problem/work etc.
2- Slicing software -- all that look - have max step up in Z direction up
to 0.05 "
for plastic printing it is ok but if one use MIG welder step up can be
between 0.15" and 0.25"

i try to get hold of people that creating software , but only manage to
talk to sale or technical support people.

Re: [Emc-users] revers tool path.

2018-03-10 Thread a k
Hi
Stuart
what is --Are you wanting to reverse the tool path of a .ngc--
.ngc ?
what i want?
i have a 3d solid model
i can generate G&M code to machine it.
no tool change will be used.
just simple machining 3d solid model.
Program will start from top and end on the bottom of the part.

Now, i want to convert this/generated G&M code in to G&M code that will
start motion from the bottom of the part and end on the top of the part.
it be very good if i also can move tool path inside of the part, and also
to i can generate 2 tool path.

why do i need that?
i did install mig welder gun on my linuccnc machine. i did program 2 inch
by 2 inch cubic model, and it is ok for what i need.

thank you
aram

this book also available for free in PDF format for download.
about www.pocketnc.com
and
http://beagleboard.org/project/pocketnc

can linuxcnc run on BBB board? and be so compact?

and second question--i took out from harbor friegt mig welder unit that
push wire out.
it has 24V dc motor.
what motor drive better to use to drive this motor?
i know that it will ask 48 VDC power supply to produce rpm that i need.
i want to drive that motor drive with BBB. that it use 3.3 V DC on max.

[Emc-users] LCNC and 3d Printer

2016-05-29 Thread a k
Hello

i just run kissliser http://www.kisslicer.com/
and many people use it because it free (some realize free )

here is how main code looks like

G1 X-2.89 Y29.74 E2.48
G1 X0.49 Y29.72 E2.1506
G1 X4.23 Y29.5 E2.3874
G1 X7.73 Y29.13 E2.2395
G1 X11.56 Y28.58 E2.4618
G1 X14.92 Y28 E2.1725
G1 X18.51 Y27.24 E2.3375
G1 X22.09 Y26.24 E2.3664

///

regular X and Y and after layer complete Z move incrementally

up.

And here is also E parameter that increase or decrease

speed of wire/ filament..

Can LCNC make LCNC 3d printer ready and make output for E

parameter ?

like rated from 0 V DC to 5 V DC. that will proportionally

indicates speed of plastic filament /wire .

Looks similar how i stop LCNC with 0-5 V DC but in this

case LCNC will sent frequency out that will

converted into 0 - 5 v DC or use just PWM for control

 filament or wire etc.

LCNC can use 2 boards 5I20 , there are 4 more

encoder channels that can be used for this purpose.

Thak you

Hi
the problem in setting G56 for example

to set G56 in mm i input in MDI
G10 L2 P3 X-20. Y-10. Z -5.
this dimensions in mm.
when set G56 and input line above, how LCNC knows that i in mm. or in inch
 ?

maybe when one want to use mm. and set G56 need to be change INI all
into mm?

[Emc-users] linux 2.6.4 switch from inch to mm problem

2016-05-29 Thread a k
Hello
i am using linux cnc 2. 6. 4
and i have problem with switching to machine to read program G code in mm.
i did went into INI and change inch to mm
i did restart - re-home CNC machine
in the program i did replace G20 to G21.
And i can not load mm g code-- it say travel out of range.

//
i found that if in INI file i leave INCH, and re start LCNC and in one line
with MDI command input
G91 G21 G1 x-5. F20.
machine moves 5. mm,
but when i try to set G55 ...in mm machine does not moves

Is it known problem ?
How to fix it?

thank you

Re: [Emc-users] look ahead---?

2015-06-08 Thread a k
Hi
i think that instead of look ahead for G0 it will be better to have/create
new M code (M100 or M(n)) that will:
after running on G1 mode and after reading code G0 will move Z up 1" (or
some parameter a=..., then move back on the same last trajectory about 0.5"
-0.75" or some parameter b=.., then down to initial Z or parameter C=...,
and reread last 0.5" =0.75" trajectory motion.
this new M code will open new and necessary capability of linux cnc -- for
use with welding application.
How difficult it will be to create such M code?
Any idea direction how to do that?

[Emc-users] look ahead---?

2015-06-07 Thread a k
hi
i am interesting if it will be possible to Linux cnc look ahead 4-5 lines
before G0 and then send some signal out?
right now i have a working system where when system reads G0 signal going
out.
now i want to this signal went out like 0.5" - 0.75" of travel before
actually system reads G0
when i said 0.5" - 0.75"---before G0 machine moves on G1 and when
this travel will be around 0.5" - 0.75" before the end of travel i want to
signal that indicates G0 go out.

[Emc-users] value of feed F out

2015-05-09 Thread a k
Hello
i am interesting if linux cnc capable to send out value of current feed on
which machine moves.
for example if --F 5.7--- to linux cnc some how send digital signal of any
type out, that identify that present feed in fact is 5.7.

Just want to say that linux cnc capability to identify G0 from G1 working
very good!
and now it is interesting if linux cnc can not only identify G0 from G1 but
also send value of feed F out as well.

thank you

Re: [Emc-users] mux_generic

Hi
i did find a problem --- add -bit--
net mode-out mux-gen.00.out-bit => hm2_5i20.0.gpio.040.out
pin need to show -bit.
what happen next--- no more error massage -- and instead open linuxcnc
control --all screen become black and a lot of code -- looks like old dos
-or like in terminals --.
--one massage say --confuse kornel-- something like that.
what it can be? .
i think that ram maybe not big enough.
computer open ok, i can go to the linuxcnc file - open hal file but when i
try to start linuxcnc all screen become black background and a lot of code.

can it be that mux generic requires bigger ram ?

thanks

[Emc-users] mux_generic

2015-01-05 Thread a k
Hi
question about mux_generic
one line of code

#net mode-unsigned conv-s32-u32.0.out => mux-gen.00.sel-int

maybe mux-gen.00.sel-int--should be -- mux-gen.00.sel-in1

???

/

also i could not find any sample that did apply mux_generic to linuxcnc

search in google and wiki

found some sample with mux4, and more sample lut5.

because mux_generic unknown --not much example of use of it with in
linuxcnc -- maybe it is better to replace it with mux2, mux4 or lut5?

Basically ---2 signals in (G0/rapid or G1/feed) and one signal out

thanks

[Emc-users] man hostmot2 ---in a terminal window

2014-12-28 Thread a k
Hi

this is about code to identify if machine move on G1 and G0.

I check in terminal—and found:

So, for example, the HAL pin that has the current

inverted input value read from GPIO 012 of the second

7i43 board is: hm2_7i43.1.gpio.012.in-not (this assumes

that the firmware in that board is configured so that

   this HAL object is available)

/

do I need to add?

hm2_5i20.0.gpio.040.out-not

//

The HAL parameter that controls whether the last GPIO of

the first 5i22 is an input or an output is:

   hm2_5i22.0.gpio.095.is_output

do I need to add?---

hm2_5i20.gpio.040.is_output

That what I have now---

[Emc-users] mesa board --7i33

2014-12-13 Thread a k
hi
board 7i33 has 50 pin connector - that controls 4 servomotor.
each set of 12 pins -wires control control one servo drive/servomotor.
here are the pins
ENCA0-encoder A
/ENCA0---encoder A-
ENCB0encoder B
/ENCB0encoder B-

IDX0---what type of signal is it--how it used ?
/IDXO--what type of signal is it--how it used?

//
reason--from servo motor encoder output signals -A,A-,B,B- ---and i can see
corresponding pins on 7i33 board.
what is the relation between --IDX0, -IDXO with U,U-,V,V-,W,W-?

7I33 board has pin VCC-- is this out put +/-5 V DC that drives motor drive?
/
PIN --ENA0 -from 7i33 --- what is function of this pin?

thank you
aram

Re: [Emc-users] sevomotor -encoder

2014-12-13 Thread a k
Hi
talk many times to servodynamics tech support and they said that
servodynamics makes ac servomotor and motor drive they buy from lenze.
i have 3 identical drive that i bought from servodinamics and 2 of them
have paper stiker - say - lenze and one mark -servodynamic.

 interesting question

servomotor that i have lenze/servodinamics- can close they loop by them
self.
for that reason that drive ask for these signals -from encoder
a
a-
b
b-
u
u-
v
v-
w
w-
5vdc
gnd
/
but i do not need to drive close the loop!!!
because linuxcnc will close the loop.

/
if this right then can i use
http://www.anaheimautomation.com/products/ac/ac-drivers-controllers.php?tID=1176&pt=t&cID=385

for the motor drive and send these signals
a
a-
b
b-
u
u-
v
v-
w
w-
5vdc
gnd
directly to emc2-linuxcnc ?

the reason is that this drives cost 3 times less then drives that capable
close the look -- function that i do not need.

Re: [Emc-users] encoder--?

2014-12-08 Thread a k
hi
i did use data from 2.5.4 for 2.6.4 - it just gives error.
i did tune up servo-dynamics motor servo motors. problem with SEM motor. it
did work ok with 2.5.4 and same PID does not work on 2.6.4
tune up logic works for servo-dynamics motor but not for SEM motor.
i found this interesting -http://www.cnccookbook.com/CCServoTuning.htm

i did increase P to get oscillation-- can not get oscillation
even when P 1000
i did increase amount for all error - deadband by 10 times to make easy for
system to work.
for now with SEM motor i get abrupt motion after which error.
with P10 and D 0.8 i got oscillation but after 30 second it dissipated
with 2.5.4 --P was 17 and D0.01- and it did work
what abrupt motion shows -- need increase D and i did try it -- or reduce P
because system not stable ?

There was 2 last lines of code. i found problem in one
net mode-unsigned conv-s32-u32.out => mux-gen.00.sel-int
should be
net mode-unsigned conv-s32-u32.0.out => mux-gen.00.sel-int
and the last line
net mode-out mux-gen.00.out => hm2_5i20.0.gpio.040.out

Re: [Emc-users] encoder--?

2014-11-26 Thread a k
No. I did new tune up for 2.6.4.
i did not use 2.5.4 config, because when i moved from 2.2.5 to 2.5.4 tune
up figures (PID) was absolutely different. so for 2.6.4 i did fresh tune up.

But problem that i described - really strange. When machine power up F2
ON-- shaft of motor moves but no encoder data change on display (axis)
looks like -- encoder disconnected---
and after turn power OFF -- click on F2 -- and turn shaft of the motor by
hand -- and change position of shaft of the motor reflected by change
figures on monitor.
that is strange but that what i have .

[Emc-users] encoder--?

2014-11-26 Thread a k
hi
i just found strange thing with motor encoder.
i am doing tuneup.
axis x and z has same motor - nema 34 from servo dynamic and y axis has SEM
.motor.
they all work ok with 2.5.4.
with 2.6.4 i can see that on axis Y (SEM motor) , when click F1 (took off
e-stop) than F2- power on - SEM motor start slowly rotate -- maybe noise -
maybe not--- interestingly encoder number did not show any changes --
rotation of the shaft of the SEM motor.
maybe encoder problem? No encoder is good!!
When i click F2 - power OFF -- and start rotate axis by the hand -- encoder
data start change ( on axis display).

So, when power is ON encoder data disconnect from real time etc, and when
Power OFF encoder data is ok and connected to display (axis).

that what i see. is there explanation for this problem and how to solve it?
also
i tunes X and Z axis and it was ok. no such problem. when i start tuning Y
i found this problem. After that same problem show up on X and Z axis.
i know it is strange but that what i see

thank you

Re: [Emc-users] 2.6.4---2.5.4

2014-11-24 Thread a k
Hi
i am not out of woods- so far.

i did move boards and narrow the problem.
1st i did put 5i20 --ONLY -- and system works as normal.
2nd i did connect Y axis driver- to the system - To y axis motor drive
 --and system works as normal.
I did connect Y axis to X axis motor drive and system --as normal.
I did connect Y axis to Z axis motor drive and system --as normal

when i Try to connect X or Z axis to the any motor drive -- system
instantly change behavior -- axis froze and not click-able -- and after F2
axis X or Z try to move automatically by them self and instantly ERROR show
up.

So , conclusion -- there are big difference between Y axis and axis X and
Z.

i noticed that in the end HAL file it show that Y axis different from X and
Z axis.
why Y is different from X and Z and what to do with my problem?

thank you

Re: [Emc-users] single board computer

2014-11-23 Thread a k
All new machine tool do not have any fan to cool down processor. They use
regular refrigerator unit to cool down whole system. Fan is old and for
desktop computer -simple - and it will bring dust and a lot of it in short
period of time.
Just need a rifrigerator and place single board computer- whole system
inside.

Re: [Emc-users] 2.6.4---2.5.4

2014-11-23 Thread a k
I did many things.
first i open Hal and type everything in manually.
when it did not work i reload 2.6.4 and type all my changes again.
third time i copy my changes alteration to HAL to file and that just copy

but now i can see that that 2.6.5 works i will do it again and i will type
everything manually

i did move 5i20 to the next PCI port and 2.6.5 work ok.
i just do not know what cause to 2.6.5 to start to work ok?
maybe because it use quantum mechanic -- nothing happen for sure, it only
has high probability that it will happen.

and with 2.5.4 linuxcnc can see the same board
