Re: [JAWS-Users] outlook 2010 desktop
Hi Kevin, Unlike the Outlook Android version which offers a Files section, the only communication of Outlook 2016 for Windows with OneDrive is for attaching files. It allows to attach files not synchronized on your computer even if you have Files on Demand feature disabled or you are using Windows 7, as well as sending links to OneDrive files or folders instead of actually attaching the files to the message. But even the Android version requires the OneDrive app to be installed for most operations, so in practice the Files section on this platform is a useless limited front-end. Hope I was clear enough. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Kevin Lee Sent: Thursday, February 8, 2018 11:20 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] outlook 2010 desktop Does outlook have a one drive storage in the program, because when you go to office.com there is a one drive! In the last four or five days both my Hotmail accounts stop working at the same time. Neither one of them could send or receive emails. I called the Microsoft Disability line and they told me Microsoft updated their server and both of my Hotmail account have to be reconfigured to IMAP for them to work. Has anyone had this happen with their Hotmail account in Outlook 2010? Mr. Ed For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

I am using W10, outlook 2010 and jaws 16 and I would like to know where to turn on the conversation in outlook 2010. When I am in my inbox and press the applications key and press enter on arrangement and arrow down to conversation jaws always says not available. Hi Group, Using Outlook 2010 is there a way to have Jaws read word by word when you are in the inbox? Another words when you arrow to an email in the inbox you will hear jaws say the name then the subject and then the date and time. Is there a way to arrow across this word by word or letter by letter? Ed For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

[JAWS-Users] Outlook 2010 saying click here to show images
Hi, In my Outlook 2010, when I open an email it will tell me that for your privacy Outlook has blocked images and click here to get them. Now normally I don't need images but in these emails, to get the links to open for the specials they are offering I need to display these images. Does one know how to achieve this task? I tried to rout JAWS to pc and go to the top of the message, when doing this I find the area to click, and I used the left mouse click with the caps lock 8 in laptop mode but when I did this it sent my Outlook to the Outlook data files and did nothing. I had to do a system restore to get my Outlook back to giving me emails again. If anyone has some advice on this, I would greatly appreciate it. [JAWS-Users] outlook 2010 unable to access tabs on the message
I have JAWS V16, latest update. When I access the site www.woodpeck.com, I am unable to access the checkout tab after specifying my orders. I am using Windows 7. Here is my recent message that I didn't receive any suggestions for the problem. I am unable to find the support form for Freedomscientific on their web site. On this site, there are tabs (I assume at the top of the page) where you can checkout for your order to be processed. I spent over an hour last night trying to navigate to the checkout tab. I don't know what I did to actually reach the checkout tab. I had tried F6 and CTRL+Tab without success. If anyone has a solution, I would be ever greatful for the tip. I suppose that someway with scripts might be able to navigate to the tabs. Gary Patterson For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

[JAWS-Users] outlook 2010 isn't reading emails correctly.
I am running Jaws 15 latest, windows 7 and Microsoft Outlook Office & E-mail, 2013 and in the E-mails I have set: for each of the folders to be Jaws friendly: A: ALT V for Victor, for view. B: PN (P for Peter and N for November) for Reading pane. C: O (for Oscar) for off this will turn the reading pane off. So that is all you have to do and this you do for each folder if for e-mails that way, and if only one In-box you only have to do it once. To which I don't have any problems reading my mail. Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] outlook 2010 isn't reading emails correctly. I've had this problem for a while now with various versions of outlook and jaws. Re: [JAWS-Users] Outlook 2010 messages not reading subject field in list view
Hi Have you tried restarting JAWS or rebooting your computer? If that doesn't help, try routing the JAWS cursor to the PC cursor and see if the subject shows up When you do a SayLine. If the subject isn't there, go to the view ribbon and in the current view group choose view settings. You will find an entry that says columns. In this item you can add or remove columns and change the order in which they are displayed. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Liuda Balcius Sent: Monday, April 13, 2015 09:05 To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Outlook 2010 messages not reading subject field in list view I use JAWS 16, Win 7 and Outlook 2010 as my e-mail client. Normaly when you make that change, if memory serves, there is an option or it asks if you want to apply to all folders. As it turns out, an IMAP account cannot save messages to the drafts folder by default in Outlook, and it cannot be made to do so at this point. As I stated earlier, they are stored in the Outlook Data File. Here is a link to some discussion on the Microsoft Answers website dealing with your exact issue: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-outlook/outlook-2010-imap-drafts-saved-to-incorrect/e6fd8117-8054-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5 This should clear the whole thing up for you. Change the time interval or location for saving drafts By default, unfinished messages are saved to your Drafts folder every three minutes. You can change this time interval or location. 1. Click the File tab. alt+f=file, 2. Click Options. here you can press the letter t=options, or, up arrow and enter on options, 3. Re: [JAWS-Users] Outlook 2010 Question
Tom, I have discovered the answer to your question I do believe. Unless Microsoft decides to change the way Outlook handles saved messages for IMAP accounts, this will not change. Re: [JAWS-Users] Outlook 2010 Question
Wow, this seems to be much more difficult than it really needs to be. The thing that is most irritating to me is that I didn't have this issue with Outlook 2010 up until as recently as a few months ago. Why Microsoft feels the need to make changes that tamper with someone's e-mail folder structures is a major mystery to me. All I know is that it is this sort of thing that is causing more and more people to shift away from Windows-based operating systems for their computing needs. So if you do a control Y and then a left arrow you can then get to a list that you can select which account you are in. when you do this and do a test email to yourself and before you send it hit escape it should automatically go to draft or you will be asked if you want to save it. If you say yes then do another control Y and go to draft folder to see if it is there. Do this for all of your accounts and if the emails are not saved in your draft folder then something has been clobared (love that term). Of interest if you have multiple account email accounts you have to be careful in the lists to ensure you are in the right one for that account. I find the lists are not very well defined once you have more then one email account that you traverse back and forth from. robin -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Tom Behler Sent: December 30, 2014 8:50 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Outlook 2010 Question Gobi: I'm not sure my previous experience with Outlook 2010 agrees with what you are saying here, since I used to be able to save messages in the drafts folder of whatever e-mail account I happened to be in at any one point in time. Things changed for some reason a few months ago, and I find I can no longer do this. Why they changed as they did isn't clear to me, and I'm hoping I can get things re-configured to where they were previously. You will be prompted for the file name, and type the following: C:\users\Tom\documents\Outlook Files\"Outlook Data file name". 6. The name of the Data File should be something like Outlook1. Re: [JAWS-Users] Outlook 2010 Question
Yeah, David, what you are saying is making some sense here. To answer your questions: When I open Outlook on my home PC, I automatically land in the inbox for my personal g-mail account. When I open Outlook on my new work laptop, I automatically land in the inbox for my work e-mail account. In either case, I can switch back and forth between both e-mail accounts on either computer. My personal e-mail account is a g-mail account, while my work e-mail account is an Outlook 2010 account created with Microsoft 365. In all cases, Outlook 2010 is how I access my e-mail. Is this helping, or have I just confused things further? What if you put some unique characters in the subject line of a test email, like "XX" - whatever is unique. Then do your usual ctrl "S" or your preferred save to draft method
