Re: [qmailtoaster] CentOS 7 QMT Install - http://www.qmailtoaster.com/

2017-02-06 Thread Richard Baxant
I also tested the behavior by changing the number of CPU available to the
VM.

1 CPU = systemd service: irqbalance: [ FAILED ]

2+ CPU = systemd service: irqbalance: [ OK ]

Thanks for verifying this Eric. Problem solved!

Working now with the following issue:

systemd service: irqbalance: [ FAILED ]

I have read that this happens if running installs on VM. There won't be a
heavy load on this server so do I really need to be concerned about this
failing?

TIA

[qmailtoaster] TRAC error?...

2015-07-25 Thread Richard Whittaker
Trying to run qtp-newmodel, and was getting errors, so I thought to
reload my QMT repo with:

rpm -Uvh http://qtp.qmailtoaster.com/trac/downloads/1

...I get the error:

Retrieving http://qtp.qmailtoaster.com/trac/downloads/1
error: skipping http://qtp.qmailtoaster.com/trac/downloads/1 - transfer
failed - Unknown or unexpected error

warning: u 0x8a3c128 ctrl 0x8a3cf68 nrefs != 0 (qtp.qmailtoaster.com http)
...

So when I past the above URL into my browser, I get:

*Trac detected an internal error:*

OperationalError: database is locked

Did I miss something, and did the update process change?..

Thanks,
Richard.

Upon reflection, I should provide some context as to what I am trying to
do.

So, reading further on the mailing list, I see qtp-newmodel is no longer
supported for updates, and I am trying to update dovecot on a QTP

[qmailtoaster] Dummy email was compromised - Now analyzing all my logs and need help

Hello,

I had a dummy email with a rather simple password. I've since deleted that
account however it sent out 70,000+ spam emails in a 24 hour period

Hi Eric,

Sorry it is the following that i'm monitoring:

tail -f /var/log/qmail/smtp/current | tai64nlocal

I've used mxtoolbox to do that check and still have green check marks

I will give those a try.

Is there anything else I should be looking for?

TIA

  Hi Richard,

Yes, I've had this happen before. It really is quite a drag. You might
want to check if your domain is blacklisted also, here
 http://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx.

What is the log file you're looking at? I'm fairly sure it's not
 /var/log/qmail/current, maybe /var/log/qmail/send/current?

You might want to check your queue to see if there are any residual
messages in it. Use 'qmHandle -l' or 'qmailctl queue' and delete those that
 come from the dummy account.

I've used mxtoolbox to do that check and still have green check marks

I will give those a try.

Is there anything else I should be looking for?

  Hi Richard,

Yes, I've had this happen before. It really is quite a drag. You might
want to check if your domain is blacklisted also, here
 http://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx.

What is the log file you're looking at? I'm fairly sure it's not
 /var/log/qmail/current, maybe /var/log/qmail/send/current?

You might want to check your queue to see if there are any residual
messages in it. Use 'qmHandle -l' or 'qmailctl queue' and delete those that
 come from the dummy account.

[qmailtoaster] MYSQL replication question.

2014-04-11 Thread Richard Whittaker

Hi.

I'm following Jake's video on setting up a replicating toaster setup,
and have hit a pretty solid brick wall, and can't figure out how to get
around it.

I have the 2 MySQL servers setup, and running. Replication seems to be
working fine in one direction, but not in the other.

The slave thread on server1 fails with this error:

140411 15:02:27 [ERROR] Slave I/O thread: error connecting to master
'mail1_user@192.168.64.4:3306': Error: 'Access denied for user
'mail1_user'@'mail.avits.ca' (using password: YES)' errno: 1045
retry-time: 60 retries: 86400

I know the grants on server2 are setup on the target database. I have
tried specific IP address and wildcard, and neither has worked.

mysql show grants for mail1_user;
+--+
| Grants for mail1_user@% |
+--+
| GRANT REPLICATION SLAVE ON *.* TO 'mail1_user'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY
PASSWORD 'blah' |

+--+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)

mysql show grants for mail1_user@192.168.0.4;
++
| Grants for mail1_user@192.168.0.4 |
++
| GRANT REPLICATION SLAVE ON *.* TO 'mail1_user'@'192.168.0.4'
IDENTIFIED BY PASSWORD 'blah' |

++
1 row in set (0.00 sec)

I can connect using the MySQL client as the use mail1_user and that
password with no issues.

Thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks,
Richard.

[qmailtoaster] STARTTLS + ComodoSSL Free + 2048 Encryption

2014-02-01 Thread Richard Baxant
Has anyone got this to work in qmailtoaster with this brand of SSL at 2048
encryption?

I can see that qmail has the clientcert.pem - servercert.pem. I looked at
the internals of the file to see the order of the keys. I cannot figure out
other than the test cert is 1024 encryption and mine is 2048.

Comodo gives 2 files after you provide the server.csr: domain_com.ca-bundle
 domain_com.crt

I have tried variations of cat Using the myserver.key on the files to
create the pem file, restarting qmail after each change and I get a
failure each time in Thunderbird for STARTTLS with a no authentication.

Anyone have some insight as to where i am going wrong?

The orignal test cert that comes with the qmailtoaster works with an
obvious warning due the information provided does not match my server

I am also aware that I can create a self-signed cert but that is not what i
am trying to accomplish

Thanks in advance

Hi all:I am experiencing issues with Courier IMAP in that Thunderbird takes forever to clear "saving copy to sent folder", so I am considering a move to Dovecot. Do I need to do anything special with my SSL cert after switching over? It is a signed cert setup as per the qmailtoaster documentation on certificates. Thanks,RichardSent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone on the Bell network.

Re: [qmailtoaster] QMT Project - DNS Refresh

2013-03-10 Thread Richard Whittaker
Hey Dan:

I would be willing to help on this front as well. I will need to double check
my gateway server config as I cant remember if I have DNS services running on
the external interface. Will let you know in the morning, and will be good to
go by the afternoon.

Subject: [qmailtoaster] QMT Project - DNS Refresh
Date: Sun, Mar 10, 2013 20:33
Greetings all QMT lovers!

As I approach the finish line on the Mirror Refresh Project (we
should be back up to 9 or even 10 mirrors very soon now), I'm going
to start a new project: Over the past year or so, we've had some
attrition in our DNS server ranks. As a result, I'm asking for
some fresh blood -- volunteers to help act as DNS
servers for the QMT project.

Background:

The QMT project deploys a widely diversified DNS infrastructure...
as such, the load on any one server is very VERY minimal.

Our goal in setting this up was to have DNS servers all around the
world, and so we have them named by continent:

dns-na = North America

dns-eu = Europe

dns-as = Asia

dns-af = Africa

dns-sa = South America

(We currently have no participants from Australia [dns-au] or
Antarctica [dns-an] -- and I honestly wouldn't expect the latter!)

Like the mirrors, we assign numbers to each specific server -- so
there is a dns-na1, dns-na2, dns-eu1, etc...

Originally, we had 5 NA sites, 3 EU sites, 2 sites each in AS and
AF, and 1 site in SA... However, we are currently down to 3 NA, 3
EU, and 1 each for AS, AF, SA.

While I'm not worried yet (9 concurrent DNS servers is still
sizable), it should be pointed out that both Bharath and I supply 2
DNS servers each so the loss of either one of us would be a 20+%
loss to the project. Therefore, I am asking for volunteers to
get us back up to the 12-15 sites we originally envisioned.

What's required:

To volunteer, you need to have a stable Linux server on a
static IP address (behind a NAT firewall is fine), you should be
running BIND 9 or 10, and you need to have both UDP and TCP
ports 53 opened on your firewall (UDP packets are used for DNS
queries, TCP connections are used for update notifications and
subsequent zone transfers).

The configs are very easy -- and the actual zone file is downloaded
(synched) from a main server. However, we do limit who can do a full
zone transfer, and so like with the mirror volunteers, you'll need
to let us know to add you to the permission list before we can get
you fully setup.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO VOLUNTEER, please write to me DIRECTLY
(do not reply to the list!). The address is q...@it4soho.com.

Thanks for reading!

Use spamdyke (highly recommended) or port 587.

OK, thanks. I will give Spamdyke a try, as I would much prefer that to
opening up port 587.

One question about 587, does that still use authentication?..

Thanks muchly,

[qmailtoaster] SMTP Auth overrides RBL.

2013-02-05 Thread Richard Whittaker

Hi.

I have run into an issue where I am trying to send e-mail from my mobile
phone, on the mobile network, but several of the NAT addresses for the
mobile network show up on the Spamhaus Composite Blacklist for
virus/worm/trojan infections, and this is causing my E-mails to fail. Is
there a way I can setup Qmail to bypass the RBLs for sessions that are
authenticated?

Thanks,

[qmailtoaster] slow qmailadmin showusers rendering due to disk usage calculation?

2012-12-28 Thread Richard Chen
Hi,

We use qmailtoaster on a centos 5.5 server. We have only
about 200 user accounts and yet the showusers (list accounts)
is very slow. It looks like the disk usage is calculated
in real time. This will be very slow when users have a lot
of email files.

Is there a way to avoid this? Is is possible to cache
the usage for a day or a few hours so that such calculations
do not have to be done in real time?

Thanks

2012-07-31 Thread Richard Vinke
Hi Eric 'shubes',

Thanks for the detailed explaination! It gives me more knowledge about the
flow of messages in QT!

The QT installation is from end 2009, with an update in 2010. I give the
details this evening (Amsterdam time). shame mode on No updates sinds
2010 shame mode off

I will dig into your recommendations this evening!

Richard.

Congrats on finding this out on your own, Richard. I'm afraid though,
that this isn't a very good solution to the problem. What you've done is
to make yourself available as an open relay to all of the IP addresses
included in the 'part of ip of transmitter'. This is great for spammers,
and bad for you. If a spammer in that address range were to exploit the
relay, you would soon find your IP address blacklisted, preventing you
to send emails to many destinations. This is not a pleasant situation
for anyone to be in. While the likelihood of someone actually exploiting
your host may be low, it's best to simply eliminate the possibility. As
a result, I recommend undoing your change to the tcp.smtp file, followed
 by doing a
 # service qmail cdb
 to make the change effective.

Now the question is, why/how did that cure your delivery problem? Adding
the RELAYCLIENT variable does a few things, but not all that much. It
causes simscan to bypass SpamAssassin scanning (clamav scanning is still
done), and it allows the sender to send to absolutely any domain (the
Relay part) as opposed to sending only to the domains which are local to
your host (domains listed in your rcpthosts file).

As you'll notice in the smtp log, the next thing that typically follows
the chkuser sender message is the chkuser rcpt (recipient) message. So
it's a good guess that something is amiss with the message recipient(s),
which is consistent with what we've observed with RELAYCLIENT. It's
unfortunate in this case that qmail or chkuser doesn't give us any kind
of message as to what exactly the problem is. That's not acceptable in
my mind, but we'll have to work around it in the meantime.

Speaking of log messages, qmail/SPF used to reject incoming messages
with no log message, but that's been subsequently fixed. I also don't
know if RELAYCLIENT bypasses the SPF check or not. I suppose it's
possible that this is the problem you're experiencing. You might try
changing your /var/qmail/control/spfbehavior from 3 to 1, then
restarting qmail, and see if perhaps that remedies your problem.

How old is your qmail-toaster package?
 # rpm -qa | grep toaster | sort
will show us what versions you're running. Also,
 # qtp-whatami
 would be helpful.

Let us know if this remedies your problem or not. If it doesn't I would
install spamdyke (definitely do this regardless), then use spamdyke's
detailed logging facility to see exactly what's going on with this. That
would be the easiest way to see exactly where the smtp session fails.

The SPF problem is extremely intermittent, and difficult to reproduce.
Many people run with SPF 3 and don't notice a problem. I suspect it
*may* be related to a malformed SPF record (which is part of the
sender domain's DNS) that triggers the problem with QMT's SPF
implementation. That's just a guess though. BL is that the difference
between SPF 1 and SPF 3 is negligible, especially with spamdyke
implemented. FWIW, I'm hoping that one day spamdyke will implement SPF
and DKIM checking, but don't look for that enhancement any time this
year. Sam's presently pretty busy with other things.

Hi Eric,

If i read between the lines, i should set SPF on 1. To prevent any
future problems.

Is that correct?

We archive error emails from web sites which are then
nfs mounted to the eng server so that they can help
troubleshooting issues. The archived emails are collected
by sitenames which act as group accounts. But this
means mails for each site will be readable by that
account alone which is not what we want. We want such

Those are archived (local) files on the servers and therefore

We just want these email files to be accessible as regular files

single IMAP account -- I do this all the time for bosses and their
secretaries. It can even be setup so that the secretary either
can, or cannot, send messages FROM the boss.

The only thing special about this setup is that the secretary's
system has to know the password to the boss's email account. But
so long as an Admin sets it up so that the secretary doesn't
actually know the password, it's reasonably secure...

[qmailtoaster] courier imapd can not handle many connections

2011-01-12 Thread Richard Chen
We have noticed that when the number of imapd processes reaches
about 120, no further connections are possible. We have already
changed the connection limits in /etc/courier/imapd:

MAXDAEMONS=640
MAXPERIP=500

The server load is very load and there are no disk i/o issue when
this happens.

The problem is that the connections do not seem to exit so
those clients who can not connect will not be able to fetch mails.

We end up periodically killing the imapd daemon to reset the connections.

Perhaps there are other parameters that need to be changed in
the qmailtoaster package that need to be changed as well?

Thanks for any info

Richard

2010-12-14 Thread Richard Baxant
It's not for development, but so that I can use phpMyAdmin 3.x.x and its
MySQL replication component for my vpopmail database.

I am currently testing it on a VM and no issue with qcontrol or the
admin-toaster. Need to still test SquirrelMail.

I'm not familiar off hand with php development, so others will know better
than I do about this. It'd be nice to hear from someone else about this.

FWIW, I think it's good practice to run web apps on a separate host from
QMT. I run webmail on a separate (virtual) host. I don't see much advantage
to running other QMT/php packages on a separate host though, as they're only
 used for administration.

I believe that won't affect QMT pkgs at all. A few weeks ago someone
on the list downgraded their QMT from 5.3 to 5.2 with no problem.
Shouldn't need to rebuild anything either.

Just out of curiosity, which repository to you intend to get your

[qmailtoaster] I think I made a boo boo? I now get no incoming mail

I have been trying to get rsync to work and in the process I added the rync

I then changed all the ownership of the /vpopmail directory to

A little too quickly I'm afraid. ;) We're not talking about Postfix on a
QMT, we're talking about Postfix on a host that's trying to submit via (or
send to) QMT. You wouldn't (normally) want to put Postfix and QMT on the
same host. They would conflict trying to use the same port(s).

What's the purpose of doing it?

Mainly so that script emails can be sent. If the application is not
written (or you cannot configure/modify it) to send email that most email
servers will accept, you can install Postfix to allow the mail to be sent
out properly. 'Course you could install QMT as well, or any other MTA. Or
allow the IP to relay to your local users, etc. There are several ways to
work around this without actually fixing the app that is sending the
 message.

The problem is your webserver box's configuration. I usually use postfix on

You can create an alias (forward) from postmaster to your email. The
postmaster account should be use to manage users. Mails to postmaster
can be redirect to another user/users.
I have never logged as postmaster. :)
First mail account I create with ,,vadduser'', then create alias
postmaster to my email and ,,vmoduser -a'' to be an admin. After this I
can do all with my email, I can forget postmaster password.

Re: [qmailtoaster] Qmail-Toaster Installation

2009-10-01 Thread richard

Does the rebuild run without problems?
Does it make an rpm below the /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/* directory?

Thats the rpm you should install.

 Hi,

 Thanks for prompt response.

To put it more clear,  the package is well downloaded  upon rebuilding
the .src  extention  is not removed hence i can not
install it, though I don't notice straight errors during rebuild.

 more comments will be appreciated.

If possible please give me the FTP location with that same package already
 rebuild.

 Regards,

 Benedict.

Re: [qmailtoaster] Advantage/Disadvantage ...??

I don't use LVM.
I have two disks, one for the system install, and one for the /var and
/home dir.

Advantage: I can install a new operating system, without loosing data.

I have a private server on CentOS (qmail, http, foswiki, samba, download
progs). For a production server this can be different.

I have a private mail server. I get the mail from several outsite pop3

Only with squirrelmail.

I know spamdyke helps servers to reduce spam during the smtp connection.
But the only connection I have is between fetchmail and the mail server.

Does spamdyke help my server to reduce spam?

Sadly, no. spamdyke is effective when/because it's connected to the
sending smtp server. It cannot be implemented with fetchmail. By then
it's too late. :(

Thanks Eric.

How do I setup my webserver not to answer to requests to my ip? I have

[qmailtoaster] Using another smtp server

2009-08-21 Thread Richard Vinke

Hi list!

I have a small mail server, located at my home address. I want to use
the smtp server of my isp (So I don't need the RDNS stuff to my IP).

How can I do that?

Kind regards,
Richard Vinke

In the tcp.smtp file, there is a difference between your local stuff
(127.) and the rest.

The line after 127.: says: no scanning
Fetchmail is seen as local, therefore it is not scanned.

Remove the 127.: line (or start it with a #) and qmailctl cdb should
do the job.

H,

I had the same problem (fetchmail mail is not scanned). I changed my

RE: [qmailtoaster] Setting up FTP script

2009-06-02 Thread Richard Vinke
I use: ftp -n ftpcommands

Content of ftpcommands:
open ftpserver

cd 'some dir'

This probably isn't a Qmail issue, but thought you guys could help

I'm trying to setup an FTP script to FTP my backup file to a public
Windows server (still behind firewall). This like the qtp-backup will be
done via a cron job. Here's my script:

 cd /backup/qmailbackup
 ftp server
 user username password
 cd \qmail
 put *.* -f
 bye

When I run it to test I get this:
 Connected to server
 220 Microsoft FTP Service
500 'AUTH GSSAPI': command not understood
500 'AUTH KERBEROS_V4': command not understood
KERBEROS_V4 rejected as an authentication type
 Name (server:root)

Here I can enter the login and password and get to into the FTP. When I
enter the creditals manually it goes to the FTP prompt. Once I type
quit it tries the rest of the script.

 Thanks for your help.

You can find the commands in the install script

For fedora_10: rpmbuild --rebuild --with fedora_10 'new src.rpm file'
and rpm -Uvh /root/rpmbuild/RPMS/i386/'new rpm file'

No need for stopping qmail, but I always use: |/var/qmail/bin/simscanmk;

file conflict between perl-Getopt-Long and a file with
perl-5.8.8-15.el5_2.1. Below is the perl install section of qtp-
newmodel. Running on CentOS 5.2 (yum updated to all current
packages). I tried to search the archives but had no success
finding any similar problem. Maybe I am not searching correctly or
you might have a new suggestion as what I should do to get updated?

ok, there are two problems in play here:

 1) you have not configured yum to prevent third-party repositories
from clobbering system packages. to do this, follow the instructions
 here:

 http://wiki.centos.org/PackageManagement/Yum/Priorities

however, just doing this will not be sufficient to help you...

 2) qtp-newmodel uses RPM package names (following the rpmforge naming
convention) to model Perl dependencies; a better way is to use RPM's
 own Perl-specific dependency format, e.g. 'perl(LWP::UserAgent)'
instead of 'perl-LWP-UserAgent'. this enables yum to be more flexible
about dependency solving and not try to install a third-party package
which will conflict with an existing core package.

attached is a patch to qtp-newmodel which makes the appropriate
changes; i just did a cursory test on my own system, and it seems to
work OK. Jake, please consider merging it for a future release? FYI,
if QmailToaster needs specific versions of Perl modules, RPM's Perl
dependency syntax supports that as well, e.g. 'perl(LWP::UserAgent) =
 5.805' instead of 'perl(LWP::UserAgent)'.

 so, to sum up:

Thomas, please configure the priorities plugin to protect your core
 packages from being clobbered.

Jake, please modify qtp-newmodel so that it doesn't needlessly try to
 clobber core packages. :)

Obviously when an email is sent from a system, and the replyto is
something like r...@host - it will bounce.

Does everyone whitelist any servers they need to receive that mail from?

Re: [qmailtoaster] simscan-toaster problem

2009-02-25 Thread Richard Vinke

I solved this by:

   * remove the rpmbuild directory.
   * Start the rpmbuild and press ctrl+s. The process stops for now
   * Edit the file =BUILD/simscan-1.3.1/simscanmk.c=, line 133 en 379:
 add the 0x0644 as in: =open(CdbTmpFile?, O_CREAT | O_TRUNC |
 O_WRONLY, 0x0644)=
   * Continue the rpmbuild with ctrl+q

At the end I had the following error:

logwatch is sending the mail to root. This is the default.
But the mail is send to r...@server6.server6=

It mentions twice the hostname of my server (server6).

If I change the logwatch.conf MailTo line to =MailTo =

In the logwatch script the To: is filled in correctly (I added a

Where is the double servername coming from?

No. euh Yes.

It's a test computer. Running on WinXP64. With VMWare. In one VM it's
running the fedora_10 with the mail server. Inside this WM it's 32bits.
But I cannot confirm this 32bits status anywhere.

Fedora 10 is running as 32bits, the =uname -a= gives:

   Linux server6 2.6.27.15-170.2.24.fc10.i686 #1 SMP Wed Feb 11

But it's refering to =/usr/lib64/mysql=. Strange.
I created a directory =/usr/lib64/mysql= (it did not exist) and =mount
--bind /usr/lib/mysql /usr/lib64/mysql=. Now the rpmbuild runs ok.

I am going to check where the lib64 comes from.

Under /var/qmail/alias you will have a couple files. They're hidden:
.qmail-postmaster
.qmail-root

Inside those files you will see what email address is defined for each

You can also define .qmail-anonymous and .qmail-mailer-daemon

Can you clarify on the patching part? I found this patch file in
sources but not sure what changes I need to make on it?

clamav-0.9x.patch.bz2

cd /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES
tar xjvf clamav-0.93.3.tar.bz2
cd clamav-0.93.3
patch clamav-0.9x.patch.bz2

then rpmbuild process...

If you install the src.rpm and look at the files you will see all of the
changes that need to be made in the spec file. Download the source from
clam, patch for the toaster, and rebuild your own RPM.

I don't think you can patch using a .bz2 file; you'd need to unbzip2 it then
apply the patch. The spec file for the src.rpm should have some notes in it
and detail (by looking at the pre and post sections) what needs to be done.

Should be tricial from 93.1 to 93.3
I didnt chekc the spec but prolly just a single version to change in the

[qmailtoaster] Clamav - Is thre a better way

2008-07-09 Thread Richard Baxant
I don't know if this is annoying anyone else but it would seem that as
soon as a clamav-toaster release is made, clamav releases a new
version, so 0.93.1 toaster just came out and now there is clamav
0.93.3 is available

So, is there a simpler way to get realtime updates without waiting for
an outdated src.rpm being released?

TIA
Richard

RE: [qmailtoaster] QMT and Ubuntu

2008-06-09 Thread richard
Hi Sergio,

I too agree with Kyle, Ubuntu is not as widely used for Servers as
CentOS. CentOS is essentially RedHat, just rebadged.

Go CentOS if you have the choice. It's a proven solution and QMT runs
beautifully on it.

Just my 2p too

Rich

I also use it as desktop. I was wondering how good the server version
 is.
I dont know if its very popular as a server OS.

 Sergio,
I use Ubuntu extensively for all my desktop machines however
I do not like it for a server version Centos just seems to be
 the way to go

At least for me. Just throwing my 2 cents out.

I figured as much... Thanks for the quick reply Jake.

What are the 2 projects? Can you post the links too. Thanks.

Any insight on getting the web interface for vqadmin working would be

Search the archives, it's been covered again and again.
Vqadmin is broken and Inter7 is not going to release any other
versions/fixes. You're stuck with command line. There are 2 projects that
I know of in the works to replace it, but there is no expected date of
 completion for them.

Thanks for the reply Eric,

So from reading the info at the link you provided there really is not
too much you can do to prevent backscatter?

These are probably what is called backscatter.

Hi All

I am trying to find a mail that I suspect may have been declared spam by my
SpamAssasin, I have looked in the logs, however they appear to be a little
light on content, can someone please confirm where I should be looking, and
if the messages are stored somewhere prior to being deleted.

I have a standard QMT install that has not been tweaked at all.

Any help muck appreciated

Many Thanks

Re: [qmailtoaster] behind firewall on LAN IP

2008-03-03 Thread Richard Starkie
Can I ask what sort of firewall you are using ... is it a commercial
box or is it a DIY box (ie Smoothwall, M0n0Wall etc) if it is one of
these DIY boxes they will have an excellent support forum that will
probably be able to assist you.

Sorry, I didn't read slowly enough to see that this is local. I'm
assuming
that you can ping/reach other machines on your LAN?

Either way, that's a networking issue, not a qmail issue. Not sure
where to
send you as I'm not sure folks want to discuss networking issues on
the list.

Perhaps the firewall is doing something funky which is preventing

Am having trouble registering the DNS entries for my domains, when using
djbns, can anyone advise the correct way to do it?

I have created the domain keys, both public private, I have followed the
