Anyone know of a reasonable 24port 10gbe switch with 40gbe uplink?
Eric,
Happy to provide everything you need offilist. Our power consumption figures
assume PoE injector inline which adds ~4watts for the up converter.
We are more than willing to try different combinations though and measure based
on your requirements.
Two possible explanations.
1. March 4th is a military command
2. March 4th is my brother's birthday
My brother is a computer-phobe. That is as good as I can get.
Stepping out of the room now...

I would expect SSH to get hit worse than telnet.

The SM's all have a private IP for management but obviously a public IP
for the WAN side of the NAT. It's the standard setup we have used for at
least 8 years if not longer.
There is a known bug where Telnet will cause the 430/450 AP's (and
possibly the SM's) to reboot when management is on a
Yeah, but I don't really see us using these too much where we actually need
more than 100mbps anyway... the 802.3af support does have the nice side
effect of making them work with a power supply setup for UBNT stuff though.

I thought so too. Cleared the cache; same-oh, same-oh.

Yes! If the force110 PTP will get a PTP-only sync ability at some point,
I'm going to start using them everywhere even if I don't actually sync. as
they are now, I'm not sure it's worth spending the extra money over just
using a standard force110.

Without NAT you have to drop DHCP port 67 incoming from the customer to
kill rogue DHCP servers there. As for only pulling one IP, there is not a
widely adopted method to manage this. It is a pain in my ass too.
