I don't think it would be possible to meet the equivalent of ETSI class 3 with such a small antenna... They could easily (from a regulatory standpoint) allow higher Tx power for 24 GHz unlicensed FDD or TDD links if the antennas met a criteria of certain sidelobe dB falloff at specific number of

We have an ExtendAir G2 18Ghz at 2.5 miles on 2' dishes to a 100Mbps enterprise customer. It's definitely better than an AF24 in the rain. Of course it's at -34dBm RSL, too. I'm not real happy with Exalt and the G2 failures we've had, but this pair has been fine for the most part. To go 4.3
