I think everyone that uses the email engine has experienced this problem. I've found that a very large message body causes the email engine to hang (Solaris 9, ARS 6.3 and 7.5, JRE 1.5, 1.6). Can you run jstack against the email engine process when it is in a hung state? jstack comes with your
