Hi Sean, I have done a lot of research in Rabo de Peixe and I think that all those Martins de Gouveia are connected. As far as I know they all descend from Manuel Martins Mascarenhas, from Rabo de Peixe born around 1610, and Maria de Gouveia, from Matriz da Ribeira Grande born on 1 sep 1613.
