There are several ways of getting round the problem, but it depends on

Well it's done; all clear now. I had only 23 discs with those FLAC ID3v2
tags. (I don't know how many discs I have exactly. SC reports 887
albums, but because I'm treating sets as one album that doesn't say
much. I have so many classical albums with more disks -- up to 18 for
'Bernstein plays

TITLE field in the vorbis tag is blank, then in that case, it will
forget Vorbis altogether and use the id3 tag instead, right? or will it

1.) There is no fw update directory created for 7.4.2 although used by
squeezebox server beta v7.4.2
2.) There is no fw update for SB Radio in the 7.5.0 path although there
are updates to the touch and the controller

five kubuntu upgrades) Some one has slipped up, probably when SBS went
from mysqlite back to mysql. Mysql has a suggested generally used
version at 5.1, and similarly with the client package. SBS should have
been updated as soon

The text on the top two lines of the top overlay is no longer a bright
white, it's a dull gray color and barely legible, (progress bar, elapsed
remaining time, are ok). This is only on the Now Playing screen, all
other menus are fine. Anyone else seeing this?

It seems to me that 7.4.2 is a developmental cul-de-sac. I'm trying to
determine why the Customize Controller plugin broke as soon as I updated
to 7.4.2 - but not if 7.4.2 is obsolete.

It's 7.5 and the files are FLAC. Bug 8380 concerns tag merging and
