Hwy 417 east and exit at Boundary Road (go North on Boundary), turn
right (East) on Russell Road (Regional 26) and
drive approx. 3.0 km to Milton Road (Regional 85). Go north (only option)
on Milton Road for about 4km to Smith Road, turn left and look for cranes.

There is good parking along High Road. Walk down the hill on the road to
the Radar Dome and go left around the encloser to the back left (NE)
corner of the fence.

At noon today Sunday, my wife and I found about 1000 Snow Geese along with
about 800 Canada Geese north of County Road 43 2 km east of Chesterville
ON. They were resting along the river.
To reach Chesterville from Ottawa, take Bank Street 50 km south and turn
east on Rte 43.

This morning at about 9:00 am there was a pair of Eastern Bluebirds at the
corner of High Road and Earl Armstrong Road, south of Uplands Airport in
Ottawa. Across the road were several Eastern Meadowlarks.
High Road can be reached from Albion Road at the racetrack.

from the board walk in the SW corner of the conservation area. The bird was
catching fish on a mud flat and was in open sun for about 15 minutes. Later
I found American Bittern, Osprey, Field Sparrow and a resident Trumpeter
Swan along with more common species.
