Actually, borrowing an antenna analyzer would serve you better. You'd not need
a radio to spit out RF. You'd also be able to see the range of SWR from 1:1 to
say, 5:1 across the frequencies you'd intend to transmit on.It'd be much easier
to trim the dipole as well, if needed.
